LPDnD: We Come From the Land of the Ice and Snow!
Is this boat we're on turnable? Like, can we turn it to ram the other boat?

It's on fire also, right?

Stavis will move to the position indicated or will double move to next to Spintik. After getting into position will attack the ram with Stirring Shout

Dood, the one you're on that we just had the fight on is missing a mast and has a ram in our ship. I don't think we can turn it or do much with it at this point; the other ship is dead in the water, so we could just leave them.

Due to the joined property you cannot move your boat effectively.
Staris' attack has caused some splintering of the wood.
And they are without wind power, you do see some oars being picked up.

"Let's disconnect this ram before the other ship gets to us, any who can discourage and delay should continue focusing on the other ship!"
After saying his piece Stavis will go ahead and do a second move next to Spintik to allow Tony and Ham'mon closer access to the ram to help with disconnecting faster.

In that case I'll double-move to our ship.

Can we ask our boat crew to safely disconnect us from the other boat?

Re: LPDnD: We Come From the Land of the Ice and Snow!
ooc: I'm assuming Tony will move to our light green square and bash on the other light green square. Anyone else that can reach it will need to attack it as well to break us free.

Re: LPDnD: We Come From the Land of the Ice and Snow!
Stavis looks to Spintik "I wouldn't suggest it as they would then be at risk of having to deal with the second ship by themselves, plus I would rather not open a hole that could cause the ship to sink or slow us down."

What exactly are you asking them to do?
The other ship (the one the bulk of the team has been on) has a ram stuck into the side of the ship currently. The quickest way to free your ship is to cut the ramming "arm" (light green squares).

Re: LPDnD: We Come From the Land of the Ice and Snow!
[OOC what Mazian was asking is to have the crew that helped us row go over to the ship that rammed up and back away pulling the ram out instead of breaking it off.]

When are we up again? I'm not sure if we've all done our actions this round.
Edit: Nvm, I forgot that Tony hadn't gone yet.

Sorry, busy night since I got home from work, but at least the bleeding has stopped.
Single move back across the ram then attack the square of the ram I'm not standing on

Re: LPDnD: We Come From the Land of the Ice and Snow!
[ooc] No I did not ask that. What I was asking if our crew, being more experienced then us, would be able to disengage us from the boat that is stuck in our side, without us having to beat on the ram. (ie would then now a trick to free our boat quickly) I did not ask them to leave our ship nor any of us to leave our ship. - may be something like rowing backwards on the starboard side to pull and turn us a way from the boat thereby causing it to disengage from the ram. Or would removing the ram at this point cause us to sink.

There might be something they could do, but it would take a while. Would you prefer them try or just cut the ram and be on your way before row row cut your throat show up? Not that they are as much a threat after the thrashing you gave the other boat.Maizan wrote:[ooc] No I did not ask that. I think we should just cut the ram. Tony started, can anyone else reach it?

I'm expecting attack rolls against AC/Def like 10. Sorry I didn't realize that wasn't clear.Whiteness wrote:I think we should just cut the ram. Tony started, can anyone else reach it?
