48HP -8-6-5 = 29

Syric moves towards Boneshard 1 and brings his sword down upon it's skull with both hands.

Note: The necrotic goo on you from the boneshard burst is not an ongoing effect. It is a one time deal.

That said Syric hits Boneshard #1 for 17 pushing it to bloodied triggering you guessed it Boneshard Burst (Close Blast 3)

I know Victae, Syric, and Trinal take 11 (Stavis maybe as well?)

Tony, Gobo, Ham'mon evaded, and Spintik was out of range.

FYI Victae is at 20HP, Gobo is at 52.

On a side note I linked the incorrect picture yesterday in what these things look like. The tiefling was fine, but the monster manual actually has a picture of what these guys are like:

Image

The middle two are what you are fighting. Boneshard #1-3 look like the second from the left, and the Blazing skeleton is second from the right.

So, of course I crit on a roll where my damage was literally 1 point under max damage. Someone get me another palm to hit my face with, I'm going to wear this one out.

Boneshard 2 take 14 points of damage, and hanging on to his animated undead status by a thread.

Don't all magic weapons get 1d6 damage per plus on a crit? So Dood should get another 2d6 damage on his crit since all the weapons are magic...

yup

"All magic weapons and Implements deal one or more extra dice of damage on a critical hit. The number of extra dice is equal to the item's enhancement bonus, and the die rolled depends on the particular weapon or implement. (The normal critical die is a d6.) Unless noted otherwise, the damage type of this extra damage is the same as the normal damage type for the weapon."

Furiel pointed out a rule I missed. On magical weapons on crits you get a crit bonus of 1d6 per plus. So Ham'mon's crit would be applying that bonus of (2 to 12) points of damage. As the Boneshard skeleton had 2 hp left he is now dead which triggers a second Boneshard blast (close blast 3) for 2d6+3 necrotic damage.

Trinal is bloodied and at 17 HP. He gains +2 to AC.
