The tracks lead right to the hill with the tower. (See previous post by me in this thread)

Re: LPDnD: The Goblins, The Bad, and the Ugly
Joun, from the lay of the land does it look like we might gain some concealment by going off the path and approaching from a different direction, or is it clear that we'd be spotted the moment we step out of the woods?

I see the wagon tracks, but are there foot tracks about? If not keep following....

If we are close to the tower will signal the group to stop and will preform the ritual Traveler's Camouflage
Nature Roll(1d20)+6:
6,+6
Total:12
[OOC sorry if this is news to Joun as I picked it but had forgotten earlier in the game since it doesn't seem my rituals are shown on my character sheet that wizards.com creates so will include everything on it]
Component Cost: 10 gp
Market Price: 50 gp
Key Skill: NatureLevel: 1
Category: Deception
Time: 10 minutes
Duration: 10 hours
You cloak yourself and any allies present for the ritual in a camouflaging shroud. The subjects of this ritual gain a bonus to Stealth checks while traveling, and other creatures take a penalty when using Perception to find your tracks.
Your Nature check determines the bonus you and your allies gain and the penalty others take.
Nature Check Result Bonus to Stealth Penalty to Find Tracks
19 or lower +2 -2
20–29 +5 -5
30 or higher +10 –10
This camouflage protects you and your allies as you travel, but not during battle. Any subject who rolls initiative or makes an attack roll loses the benefit of this ritual until the end of the encounter. If a subject is hidden when he or she makes an attack, that subject loses the bonus before making the attack roll, which could cause him or her to lose the benefit of being hidden for that attack.

@Spintik The foot tracks are along the wagon paths. They never venture out more than like 10-15 ft. Usually a bathroom break.
@Trinal The hill has very few trees so there is no way to really get to teh tower without being seen...if they are looking.

Hell yes. We can maybe get close without being spotted if we have that in play. Nice.

Spintik very quietly says "Should we circle around in the trees and do a perimeter check and see if the tracks bypass the tower or not?"

"Yes though be careful my ritual helps to conceal. It does not make one invisible."
Stave will then go around counter clockwise staying enough in the trees to try and stay hidden and looking for any tracks of the cart or the cart itself.

Quietly Trinal says "I will promise you they do not. But we can verify if you like. We should approach and see if we can gain entrance without raising an alarm."

Stavis makes his way around the tower. He never sees the tracks again until he returns to the starting place. That wagon by any deductive capacity went to that tower.

Joun, unless there's more than one entrance, which I assume you would have told us about, I think we'll make an approach to the tower. I'm going to move out, being as stealthy as possible.

As you approach you notice most windows have been boarded up. You make it to the front door with not a sound, arrow, or spell sent your way.

Does most mean "not all", as in is there any way to get a peek inside? Otherwise, I'll approach the front door quietly.

The top floors may not be boarded but the bottom ones sure are. You are at the front door.

I take a peek inside and if there's no sign of anyone I will move in and wait for the others to move up.

Re: LPDnD: The Goblins, The Bad, and the Ugly
You open the tower door and all file inside. There is a door (obscured by the cloud on the map) and 4 goblins milling about who didn't notice you guys come in.
Heart-Gobo
Sun-Ham'mon
Happy Face- Trinal
Green Circle- Stavis
Cylinder- Spintik
https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1yaa ... sp=sharing
You have one round before they notice you guys. If you attack we'll start combat if you don't then at that point we'll roll initiative.

[ooc]This is my first time in combat with dnd4 in a very long time. So if I make mistakes, please forgive and point out[ooc]
Roll initiative to see acts first in group.
Move action move sideways to space in front of window, I count 5 movement squares.
With bow shoot arrow at "H" (I assume "G" has partial cover from "H", if not I shoot at "G"). "H" is marked for Hunters Quary and as I am closest I also get Prime Shot.
Spit the Tree on "H" and "G" (two attack rolls, take higher on both)
.
if successfully hit 2[w]+dex mod: plus 1d8 for HQ
HQ is applied to "H"
If attacked I will use Foxes Cunning for a Retaliatory Attack
