Operation Rescue Ko Thread (Chapter 3 dungeon)
Post

Here is the map of the section we are talking about. You guys (minus Dood of course) are just above it in the section above.
"Scorecard"
Tony Plush 7 kills 3 assists
Klak 6 kills 3 assists
Jax 5 kills no assists
Bulwark 3 kills 2 assists
Syric 2 kills 5 assists
Cuspar 1 kill 1 assist
So Leet 1 kill
Kill is last damage done to kill a person. Assists are any damage done to that person before hand. Syric and Klak made a pretty good pairing actually, if the initiative was different they would have easily flipped on the kill/assist counts.

You forgot the most damage taken stat - which I believe Cuspar is leading
Although he has yet to spend any time tanking the floor so that's good I guess.
They say when you go on a quest for vengence to dig two graves. They underestimate me.

"Ok, let's take a quick break, bandage up and figure out our plan for the next section."
Tony pulls out his datapad with the map So Leet got us earlier pulled up.
"So we are here" Tony says pointing to the room we are in "once we head south the key point in this section is here" Tony says pointing to the intersection where Soldier2 is currently marked at. "That intersection opens in all directions, if you walk out into the intersection once the shooting starts you'll be a sitting duck to attacks from 4 different angles. So, who wants first crack at making our battle plan for this section?"

Not yet, but I have grenades so that could change at any moment
And we can strategize right now Whitey, I'm assuming we would take 1 minute to make a quick plan while bandaging up and distributing loot.
Sold Ref def is 15

Effectively it is your move and you can strategize with everyone, but combat will start on your action.
Core stats of concern
Soldiers ref def is 15 (22Hp)
Sith Candidates ref def is 12 (19hp)
Engineers ref def is 16 (12 hp)

Bulwark holsters his carbine and picks up the sithified carbine. He checks the settings and swaps in a fresh power pack.
"If we set up a fire base at the north end of the hall, we may be able to draw some of them out. Or, at the very least, pin them down as we approach en mass."

This would give them time to call reinforcements and overwhelm us with numbers. Our current strategy is doing well.

"Oh and 1 more thing, Fishstix, I appreciate your bravery and gameness in a fight, but you're not fully combat trained. Please stick a little closer to Brainiac toward the back. You're taking alot of unnecessary fire that you just don't have the training and experience to avoid and I don't want us to have to carry your corpse out of here.
Ok, I think breaktime is over kids, let's get back to hunting!"

Syric pulls out a flask and takes a quick sip before passing it to Klak.
"Let's do this"
Syric takes the west path back down towards the path to the new sector.
HP 29 (Threshold 13) FortD 13 RefD 19 WillD 16 Speed 6, atk +2, Dex +3
He draws his Heavy Blaster and Pulse Wave pistols and fires both at the soldier.
Roll(1d20)+6: 18,+6 Total:24 -5 =19
Roll(1d20)+6: 15,+6 Total:21 -5 = 16
Roll(3d8)+2: 4,8,7,+2 Total:21
Roll(2d6)+6: 1,3,+6 Total:10

Syric would have walked out of the narrow hallway just far enough to see and shoot at the soldier.

Soldier 1 is Down! I repeat Soldier 1 is Down!
----------------
Soldier 2 Shouts "Intruder from Section 1B!"
He shoots his blaster carbine at Whiteness.
1d20[15]+5=20 It should hit.
3d8[7,7,5]=19 points of damage
Syric will move one down the condition track and have 10 HP. He is now eligible for second wind should he choose.
-------------
Bulwark is up.

Soldier 2 reels back from the attack but is still standing...slightly bent over.
--------
Engineer 1 moves from where he is on the map to the doorway in room 8.. He is inside the doorway near where Soldier 2 is but you wouldn't be able to get line of sight from the hallway.
------
Sith Candidate 1 moves to 2 squares west of Soldier 2.
-----
Sith Candidate 3 double moves to get to the square directly north of Sith Candidate 1.
-----
Klak's turn.

Klak told me to take his turn.
He will move into the hall to get a view on Soldier 2 and fire his blaster carbine.
1d20[4]+3 base combat+3 Dex bonus +1 Point Blank Shot + 1 Weapon Focus rifle+1 Cuspar's bonus=13
Which just misses.
-------
Engineer 2 moves one square south of Engineer 1.
----
Soldier 3 moves one square diagonally NW of Soldier 2 and fire sat Bulwark.
1d20[2]+5=7 miss.
----
So Leet up.

Sorry this is out of sequence, as I have a lunch meeting... I'll leave two options:
1) If I can't get a shot, I'll basically stay back.
2) If I can get a shot without being in front of everyone, I'll shoot at a soldier - 1st priority would be soldier with most damage, second would be closest one if I can't shoot the injured one for some reason.
HP 25 (Threshold 13) FortD 13 RefD 13 WillD 17 Speed 6, atk +1, Dex +1, Born Leader +1
Draw sith blaster and shoot at whichever soldier it happens to be.
Roll(1d20)+3=5+3=8. I fucking miss again.
Cuspar
