"We'd like you to walk us through yesterday with particular attention to anything relating to this man. Where did you go together, what did you talk about together, where there any arguments, who else was present. And please be thorough." DCI Hunt says leaning back in his chair.

@ Eli, So Leet, and Cuspar

Nolan Tsont'Ar arrives at the ship and walks up. He is with a younger human male with short black hair in a dark suit.
"Gentlemen, I'd like you to meet a friend of mine. Hosal Frum. He is legal council I use for this area when needed. Cuspar mentioned that local law enforcement has been involved so I thought it might be necessary to bring him along to prevent any missteps along the way. Now would someone please let us know what is going on. Who are the key players and why are the police involved?"

@DCI Hunt

"Certainly. Though I'll need to go back a little further to give you context, but I'll be brief about it so as to not waste too much of your time."
"It all started a few weeks ago. I got a call from the father of one of my old associates. Apparently he had been kidnapped and his dad was going down his list of friends on [Star Warsy equivalent of Facebook] looking for help. I showed up along with most of the other motley crew you saw on our ship."
"We discovered that the group that took him was related to a minor exchange boss named Kunga on Bryx. So we eventually headed there, after a quick stop on Tatooine to pick up supplies and a ship."
"Kunga's right hand man was a twi'lek called Ro'Talth. We were in the process of talking to him when the Sith invaded the planet. Apparently another Exchange boss had double crossed Kunga and managed to get the Sith to attack his compound and kill all of his associates. We were at the villa of Ro'Talth's girlfriend, Ra'wen, deciding what to do when a group of seriously bad Sith battle droids show up and kill off most of Ro's guards without blinking. We fought back and managed to do some serious damage to them, but Eli got our Jedi killed in the process."
"Then, another droid in a floppy hat shows up and throws an Ion grenade down and incaps most of the droids and we manage to finish off the rest. All of us, plus Ro', Ra' and the droid then escape the planet and past the Sith blockade. Apparently the droid knew a secret password or something."
"I then find out that the droid is not only masterless droid, but it is also a Sith assassin droid, just like the ones that jumped us back on Bryx. Needless to say, I am pretty pissed that we have a mastless assassin droid running around this ship while we sleep."

Bulwark pauses for a moment and then continues.
"So, yesterday we land here on Tatooine and Syric, Ro' and I go to see someone named Kitani who may have a lead for us. After we leave the office, Ro' says he is going to buy some weapons for that Sith assassin droid. Not only is it illegal for a masterless droid to own a weapon in most civilized worlds, it's also just plane stupid. So Ro' and I get into a fight over it. I'm not going to have a fully armed Sith droid kill me in my sleep, right, so I try to stun him. Then not only does he turn around and fire his blaster at, me, Syric shoots me in the back. Well, I'm in no mood to die on Tatooine, no offense, so I high tail it out of there. I don't want to head back to the ship, because the assasssin droid is there by himself. I'm also worried that Ro' may try to finish me off, so I head over to the bar in a casino. I figure they have pretty good security there and I can get a drink while I collect my thoughts."
"Now, this next part is kinda fuzzy because I had just had the snot knocked out of me and was a little drowsy. From what I can tell, Syric and Ro' head back to the ship and they have a falling out. Syric gets the assassin droid to hold Ro' hostage. Eventually level heads prevail and they allow Ro' to go talk to Cuspar. So Ro' and Ra' leave the ship, but take off in their speeder. Now Eli starts freaking out and wants them captured. There is a bunch of running around. Something about a comlink and a wild goose chase and they can't find Ro'. Cuspar meets me in the bar and we talk it over and we all eventually head back to the ship."
"Here's the deal, did I want Ro' dead? After the beating he gave me, you bet I did. Am I glad he died? absolutely. But did I kill him? no. If you ask me, either the Sith or the Exchange caught up with him after his escape from Bryx. All that attention he drew to himself when he shot me probably gave him away. Heck, it could even have been that Sith assassin droid. He had plenty of access to Ro's speeder on the ship when no one was around. And it isn't like it has the moral compass of an organic to keep it in check. My guess is that if you tried to put a restraining bolt on it, it would shoot you."

As soon as Syric returns to the ship he will start preparations for take-off to ensure the ship is ready to leave at a moments notice.

GM-I have lost all track of time so please let me know when Syric is back at the ship.

Perception check result: Seems plausible if a little biased like you'd expect from anyone.
Use the force check: Search your feelings needs an action so like "Should I eat this greasy burrito?" then the force will guide you on whether that burrito being consumed is favorable or unfavorable to you. You can't just look at a painting and say "search your feelings" and expect feedback like that.

You are back about 5 minutes after Tsont'Ar and Frum arrive. It is approximately 1pm Feb 4th.

DCI Hunt starts laughing.

"So let me get this straight, you expect me to believe you and a band of friends are searching for some guys son, and now you are mixed up in some kind of Sith exchange war and a Sith assassin droid is acting like your pal saving you from other Sith war droids? AND that the main lieutenant to an exchange crime boss is going to come out of hiding to get you a meeting with a known resource guy like Kitani?"

He looks around the room.

"Do I have idiot stamped on my forehead? Can someone get me a mirror? Do I strike you as a fucking idiot?"
He slams his fist down on the table and gets in your face. "Now how about you try that again, but this time don't insult my intelligence."

Ok, the ship has been cleared, what's the plan? he sees the two guests "And who might this be?"

[I can't remember if Syric has met Mr.T or knows what he looks like, so if he hasn't that question will only be directed at his companion]

"Nolan Tsont'Ar." Tsont'Ar smiles and extends his hand. "And this is a lawyer Mr. Frum. Cuspar informed me that the police have been poking around this morning, and well I thought it is best to be prepared. So where is everyone else?"

"Unfortunately, that's how it really is. No doubt you have heard about what happened on Bryx. And I'm sure you are well aware of who Ro' is and who he works for. And you already know that the three of us went to see Kit. And it shouldn't be too hard to get the video from that casino.
And that still doesn't add up, go ask Eli. For all his self righteouness, hes not one to lie to the cops.

If you want, I can make up a more believable story that we got in a fight over a girl, but that wouldn't be the truth and would just waste our time and probably earn me a smack in the face."

"Ah, hello Mr. Tsont'Ar, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Syric Frost. Two of our associates are currently off world while the third is down with the local authorities. He was taken in due to an altercation that took place prior to Ro'Talth's death. While I had tried to avoid the need for him to be questioned, ultimately my efforts were futile. Syric gives Eli a slight glare before returning his gaze to Nolan I believe you have been brought up to speed on our current goals and efforts, and I just want to extend my thanks for the assistance you have provided. Now, I don't know your relation with the men that are holding Bulwark, but they seem like they just want to lock up anyone they can for this murder. I am unsure what Bulwark is telling them, but I doubt they will believe what he has to say. I am worried that they could renege on their agreement to let this ship go, and I feel like we should be taking off as soon as we can."

"Syric, why don't you tell Mr. Tsont'Ar and Mr. Frum what exactly happened yesterday between you, Bulwark and Ro'Talth after you left Kitani's. And also what you told the police as well. If they are going to assist us with this matter they should probably know exactly what happened."

@ Bulwark
DCI Hunt grabs your shirt collar and yanks you to him. "Listen you indignant little shit. We have witnesses saying you shot at a man in the street. We have witnesses saying you said 'Get a good look at those. You will not live to see them again.' And lo and behold not 90 minutes later that man is dead. And you come waltzing in here with stories of droids in floppy hats and Sith boogey men. Now start speaking the truth or I'm gonna make you cry like the coward you are." He pushes your chair back to the ground.

@ Syric et SD crew

"You'll have to forgive the local authorities. They are trying their hardest to clean up the streets. 90% of law enforcement is the perception that crime won't be tolerated. The better they are at creating that perception the more businesses will be willing to invest here. If they can't lock up people for crimes, especially violent crimes, I'm afraid the whole of Mos Eisley would devolve into a mess." Frum says. "That said, they are not unreasonable men, you just need tow work with them on their terms."

"Bulwark seems to be getting all of us into a lot of situations lately. Syric, Cuspar, did either of you by chance share the information we discussed with Jax about my past and his interest in my training when we met at the Bantha yesterday?"

I will also get out my comlink and text the following to Jax

"Jax, have you discussed with Bulwark at all my training and the discussion we had about it in the Bantha yesterday?"

Syric looks from Eli to Cuspar then back to Eli, "What does that have to do with anything? I thought he was just concerned about Wailer being a Sith?" Syric sees Eli staring at him waiting for an actual answer, "No, Eli, I didn't say anything about it. I honestly didn't give it a second thought"
