"It is merely a prop Mr. Cuspar Inirv'E." He mimics a sip up to his scarfed head and on the return to the table he deftly pours a small amount into your mug. Fandango, I think you have that scarf wrapped a little too tightly, it might be blocking your photoreceptors.

"I'm sorry that was intended for Cuspar. My apologies. Shall I get you a new drink?" Fandago signals for the waitstaff.

"No, no I'm fine" Syric takes his mug and chugs the remainder of his drink with only a slight wince.

The Taris Event Chapter 3
Has it been more than an hour since I tried the apb thing? If so I try it again after the first hour. Big nothing comes of it I turn my attentions to what we had set Kitani to do. I have knowledge physical sciences, technology, and bureaucracy. I'd like to use the three of those in conjunction with my gather information/use computer skill which is +18 due to the visor i bought to find the most likely places associated with kunga and the sith to find tordassium or whatever the name of the ore is.

1d20[6]+18 (bonus with visor)=24
Fandago helps 1d20[11]+9=20 (adds+2 to So Leet's score now 26)
Failed attempt.

Tordassium industry report
1d20[19]+18(bonus with visor)=37
It will take 8 hours to give a full report (and gives me time to compose it).

Of the three people banned from the casinos in town one is dead, one is off world and the other is busy looking at mining data for clues. Feel free to go gamble if you want. Just let me know when I can continue.Whiteness wrote:[Might as well, I'm assuming it was too late to do anything else besides drink or gamble, and none of us would do that]

Pretty much too late. Unless you wanted to do something super crazy like hold up a liquor store or something else I'm not expecting.Whiteness wrote:Well, was I right that it's too late to do anything else? Because then I'm fine with going to the next day.

I'm going to turn over the 2 ion pistols and 2 of the stun batons I bought over to So Leet and let him know that I'd appreciate him creating the Ion batons for me when he gets a chance.
Then it's trance time, and up really early for a jog and breakfast before everyone else gets up.

February 4th Mos Eisley 8am
Dawn hits Mos Eisley and the sky is clear with the last remnants of the sandstorms from yesterday gone. Eli wakes to go for his jog. Jax wakes up in his hotel to find Slick ready to issue what information he was able to find on Ra'Wen
Dawn hits Mos Eisley and the sky is clear with the last remnants of the sandstorms from yesterday gone. Eli wakes to go for his jog. Jax wakes up in his hotel to find Slick ready to issue what information he was able to find on Ra'Wen
So Leet wakes up to find Eli placed new toys to build into an ion baton onhis workbench and his computer report beeping the following information. (This is a summary of the logic process I used to deduce this information in place of a tedious back and forth with Arrican over the data)Ra'Wen was born on Ryloth approximately 22 years ago. She attended school there until her merchant father relocated to the Duro System. As a teenager she was enrolled in the Brucker School of the Arts and began studying acting. She participated innumerous productions of classic theater in the scholastic arts program. Upon graduation whe was hired by the Bryx council for the arts and relocated and joined the Metro Theater Troupe and was a troupe player for the past 3 years. Local gossip pages noted Ro'Talth and Ra'Wen starting dating shortly after she arrived on Bryx. She was working her way up the production team and did many charity events under Ro'Talth's finacial banner.
And as you begin to mill about the ship there is a knock at the ship door.As you know tordassium is viewed widely as an impure isotope found in other ore shales. Those ores generally have better individual attributes which excel at given design intentions. For example iron is more durable, aluminum is more maliable, gold is more conductive. Due to the rarity of the tordassium ore it is not considered practical for industrial usage.
Due to a lack of reliable and efficient tordassium prospecting technology, the only logical way to produce sizeable quantities of tordassium would be to use standard refinement processes which would extract the tordassium, but destroy the ore shale for other metals. Or if a sifting mechanism was in place you could slow the processing speed of your refinery, retain 85% of the standard ore, extract the tordassium and have minimal loss of the main ore shale supply.
Given the widespread nature of mining operations and refinery operations you would be looking for operations that have had an otherwised unexplained dip in ore production in tonnes processed versus shale mined. You would be looking for the percentage difference because raw tonnage can vary naturally as some lines are exploited and new lines are found.
There exist approximately 4,000 mining companies in the known galaxy who have reports of production and processing quotas to mineral, liquid, and gas bureau on regular intervals over the past four years. Once you separate out the gas harvesting and liquid gathering from the totals that lowers teh number down to 2,300 companies.
Starting a analytical analysis of the datasets looking for likely candidates who have that full or 15% drop in shale production you find 14 companies that fall into the 15% drop camp. Some are subsidiaries of Czerka Corp others are afflitiated with GalMinCo and a few are independent operators.
Looking at commodities markets you have not seen any trading of tordassium indicating that its harvesting is still a niche product that if contracted would be under nondisclosure agreement or under the table contracts.
The list of the 14 companies is as follows
Tildo Mining Corp (Subsidiary of Czerka)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Corellia
Rodisian Mineral Extracting Concern (Subsidiary of Czerka)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Corellia
Pallatino Mining and Digging (Subsidiary of Czerka)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Corellia

Sorrello Exploration (Subsidiary of Czerka)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Corellia
Ramsey Industries (Subsidiary of Czerka)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Corellia
DiSchetti Minerals (Subsidiary of GalMinCo)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Coruscant
Obispado Extraction and Processing Co (Subsidiary of GalMinCo)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Coruscant
Bigelow Mining Co (Subsidiary of GalMinCo)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Coruscant
Rudolfinzi Industries (Subsidiary of GalMinCo)-All business is handled through Czerka Mining based on Coruscant

Bulwark wakes up and scrounges some breakfast. Once Cuspar wakes up (do fish sleep?) he asks him if he wants to hit the morgue on the way to his dad's shipping office.

Most likely off-planet with Ro'talth but we might want to take a look at the body and talk to the investor anyway. It certainty wouldn't hurt.
