So you are wearing two shoulder holsters? On the same side?

For some reason I was picturing you wearing one shoulder holster on top of the other.

I have two shoulders, tyvm. I was going to put one in the waistband holster but I thought the other two might be more easily concealed.

Syric will make sure to get someone's opinion just in case.
Spoiler:
Within 5 squares of Syric: +1 to Healing surges, +3 Diplomacy, +2 Intimidate, +2 Speed on surprise and 1st regular rounds
Between 6-10 squares of Syric: +1 Diplomacy

well, for a small infusion of credits from a certain gungan, we can make this happen :shifty:

I would say - unless Pat wants to do any Ro/Cusp dialog in the car, or thug/you guys dialog in the other car.

Oh sure. I've just been distracted by Darth and Droids http://darthsanddroids.net/episodes/0001.html

To summarize for our readers. Last night the gang plotted for a bit on the best plan for dealing with Ro'Talth at the theater. Ro'Talth said he would meet with them after the show. Syric, Eli, and Cuspar went to the show, everyone else was across the street in cafe's except So Leet who was on the Ship being the hacker.

During the show So Leet got a blip warning that a Sith Cruiser had taken orbit above the planet. As a precaution the municipal authority ordered everyone to return to their residence. The show was interrupted and orders were given to go home. The gang rushed the speeder and Ro'Talth in the alleyway to talk to him. Tensions were high with weapons drawn and shots fired at Syric and Wailer. Wailer used his force powers to repeatedly turn off the speeder, which the driver would then turn back on. Cuspar gave a really convincing statement to stop shooting and Ro'Talth agreed to talk to the gang at his girlfriend's villa. The party had wanted him to come to the ship, but he refused.

So Leet had noticed that reports of a personnel transport had dropped off 3 sith and a handful of battle droids north of the city.

We will resume with the gang (minus So Leet) and Ro'Talth at Ra'Wen's villa with the 5 goons and the driver. The city has sirens blaring and people are rushing to their homes in panic and staying on lock down. The sith have taken over broadcast communication channels (radio/news) to inform the citizens of Bryx that they will not harm the planet, they are only here to retrieve something that is rightfully theirs. Do not act against them and they will not be harmed.

What's the dc to hack the navigation on ro's speeder so it flies to the ship instead of the villa?

Considering it is driven by a driver controlling the vehicle it can't be hacked like that.

The Taris Event Chapter 2

I'm sure it has an autopilot option. I want to override the physical controls. To basically turn from auto pilot to So Leet pilot. :-)

Okay it is a DC 35.

But before you roll I want to know if this is something you really want to do? Ro'Talth was pretty insistent that they go to the Villa.

Inside the Goon car is 4 goons, the driver, Cuspar, Rotalth and Ra'Wen.

Inside the Avlian car is everyone else and goon #5

If their car doesn't go to the villa like they expect that could very easily end badly for Cuspar.

So if you still want to try go ahead and roll.

The Taris Event Chapter 2

Post by Arrican » Thu Mar 31, 2011 11:20 pm

Two things.
1. I doubt the underboss, his g/f, and the braniac driving would even think to consider cuspar. He's not exactly the techno type. It would be too damn hard (IMHO) to know what was happening except that he lost control of the vehicle.
2. I rolled a 1. Jk. I didn't roll and I'd let you roll this one anyway.

You did say that the villa for the girl was out in the middle of no where right?

If so what are my options to get to the villa? Can I land our ship nearby or just not possible? Outside of the spaceport can I steal a vehicle? Basically hotwire a speeder or a land cruiser? And if stealing something is possible I want the flashiest fastest thing I can get my hands on.

The villa is 2km from the theater. It is still inside the city, but in an obviously upper scale residential district. Outside the port there are taxis taking people to the residential districts in accordance with the municipal defense order. You can also steal a car if you'd like, there are a few land speeders and speeder bikes currently not being attended. You'd need to do a stealth check (dc15) and a mechanics check (dc 15) to hotwire either. As for landing the ship, it is in a residential area so it would be kind of hard. The city design definitely encourages ships to land in the port or outside the city, not really in the city wherever they want.

I wasn't really worried about stealth I figured with all the general craziness I could just grab my choice and move forward. But if you insist I be sneaky...
Take 20 on my perception to ensure I find the best one out there - 20+11= 31
Stealth - 14+8 = 22
Mechanics - 5+11 = 16

You find a steal a speeder bike. You know where the villa is per the recon and I assume head that way.

Yep. Trying to get there not using main roads. I'd rather not get picked up by the sith. Just for my own benefit.

The "theater speeders" Get to the villa complex in a few minutes and So Leet arrives a few minutes after that. Everyone walks into Ra'Wen's villa which is a 2 story rustic condo. There is a large living room/open kitchen on the bottom floor and a stair case going up stairs to individual quarters. The center of the room has a fire pit and there are large couches around the room and a few chairs. The goons set up two at the outside of the door, two at the back exit and one on the inside of the door. The driver stayed in the speeder and is commlinked with the rest of the crew.

Ro'Talth goes to the bar and pours himself a drink. "Anyone need a drink?" He signals to Ra'Wen to take any drink orders.

"Mr. Inirv'E I have to say I'm pretty concerned with this turn of events. Your men here rush me at the theater and have weapons drawn. You mentioned that bastard Nolan Tsont'Ar on Wednesday. The Sith arrive at the same time, and you plead for me to go to your ship. If I didn't know better I'd say you are in fact not just a social acquaintance of his, and this was a failed kidnapping attempt."

BTW just because Ro'Talth addressed Cuspar doesn't prevent others from speaking if they so wish.

Dood winks and does a small bow as he accepts the drink.

"Thank you, madame."
