Dood catches a nap in whichever barracks doesn't have a Mon Calamari in it [ooc]Unless of course sleeping on t ship at this point is unkosher, in which case he goes and sets up a hotel room for himself and one for Klak again[/ooc]

He rises with enough time to freshen up and head to the arena. Once there, he attempts to learn everything he can about the underdog by listening and asking questions.

Gather Information: Roll(1d20)+3: 15,+3 Total:18

Unsatisfied, he attempts to go watch both men prepare for their fight.

[ooc]If I'm allowed to go and do that, then that would be a perception roll, right? If not, I will roll stealth to try and sneak in[/ooc]

Stealth: Roll(1d20)+15: 19,+15 Total:34
Perception: Roll(1d20)+9: 8,+9 Total:17 - REROLL - Roll(1d20)+9: 9,+9 Total:18

Dood I'm not sure what the end of your post is attempting to do.

And for everyone, you guys own the ship now. You can sleep there, eat there, play games whatever. The only thing you can't do is fly away because of the dealer's restraining bolt.

In the couple hours of time leading up to the fight Eli will be approaching every one of his companions except Klak and asking them the following,

Are they planning to attend?
Are they planning to wager?
If they are not planning to wager, will they wager for him?
Eli is looking for someone in the group to wager the max 1000 credits on himself to win as he can't wager himself but it's not forbidden to have a proxy wager on his behalf.

Eli, friend. I'll be happy to wager by proxy for you. I only have a hundred and some credits, so I can just wager the max on your behalf - it's not like I'm losing out on a huge potential winning with such a small bet.

[i will just wager 1000 credits on Eli's behalf, and therefore not make my own small wager.]

Nyquil is strong shit. Okay. Yeah you look at his opponent he is a little taller and a bit more built than eli, but per cuspar's squid droolings so was the last guy. This guy is a former soldier with martial arts training.

Klak turns away from Syric and heads to the Dusty Bantha. He remembers that when Bran offered him a job washing dishes he had mentioned some other evening work that would suit him.

As he enters the Bantha he feels a more cordial look from Bran. Apparently Bran was no longer irked at this Zabrak.

Klak approaches the bar, orders an ale and tips 100% (thanks to his credits!).
"Hello good sir" Klak says to Bran with a bright smile of his ugly teeth and his red eyes as wide as they get, "I recall you had some evening work I may be suitable for. Since the fights tonight are Semi-Pro I felt looking for alternative means of earning credits was due. How could this soldier be of assistance?"

"Well you are in luck. My pal runs a warehouse that needs a night guard. Apparently the current night guard's kid is sick or something and my friend doesn't trust robots. Head over to warehouse 19 and ask for Buppo. Tell him Bran sent you about the night watch job." Bran says as he pushes you a tall mug of ale.

Dood goes to Eli, contemplating how the human will react to being asked if he would consider throwing the fight. As he passes the betting windows, he sees Cuspar betting 1000cr on Eli. When Dood asks Cuspar about the bet, Cuspar explains that the bet was for Eli with Eli's credits.

Dood sighs, mutters something about "half as much money" and then walks to the window and bets 300cr on Eli.

Noticing the Bothan, Syric lines up behind him and overhears his bet. Thinking it over he also bets 300cr on Eli.

Dood doesn't go to the arena to watch. Choosing instead to go sit in a bar and have a few drinks.

When the fight is over he either collects his winnings or doesn't if he loses and then goes to the ship to go to sleep.

Wailer finally ends up at the starship lot but finds the gates locked. Since he just acquired his comlink, he hasn't synced with the others and cannot contact them. Not quite tired enough to return to the hotel, Wailer decides to head back to the casino he was at earlier today.

{same plan as before. Risk 100 per hand until I lose 500 or win 10,000. Then put all his winnings on one last hand.}

Afterwards he will find a hotel.

Klak finishes his drink and looks to the time. Knowing the job with Buppo starts at 10 he decides he has time to nurse one more ale before he needs to walk over.

He order the ale and drinks it slowly. When is is good and loose he thanks Bran for the drinks and heads to Buppo's warehouse.

Upon entering the Warehouse Klak says
"Greetings Buppo. My name is Klak Reen. Bran at the Dusty Bantha sent me. He told me you could use some security assistance this evening around 10pm?"

"LAAAAADIEEES AND GENTLEMEN!!!!! Mos Eisley sports Arena and Atta Fight Promotions are proud to present the first fight of the night in our semi-pro circuit series! If you were here last night you Met Electric Eli! Well tonight he is back and facing one of our regular fighters. Let's give it up for Bost'ick the Bruiser!!!!!!!" The announcer starts.

Eli and Bost'ick come out from the tunnel waving to the crowd. There are cheers filling the arena which is almost to full capacity. Bost'ick isn't much taller than Eli measuring in at 1.7m and is probably 7kg heavier, mostly because of his height. The announcer lists off some basic rules about tap outs and submission holds. The fighters open their palms outward and do the typical honor tap to signify a respectful fight.

The horn starts and the two fighters close in on each other. Bost'ick is slightly bouncing with his fists up while Eli is in a relaxed stance with his arms slightly elevated outwards above his waist.

Bosti'ck attempts the first punch but Eli easily dodges it. Eli counterpunches weakly but it misses. Bostick throws a fast mean punch but Eli dodges it by just a few centimeters. Eli kicks out but Bost'ick sidesteps it.

Eli seems slightly frustrated with that dodge and crouches slightly in his stance and brings up his fists in a more offensive way that he had before. Eli throws another punch but it misses only to have Bost'ick counter punch and landing the first contact of the night. This surprises Eli a bit. Unlike last night Cuspar notices Eli is more focused on his opponent than the crowd at this point.

Eli launches into a kick only to be side stepped and popped in the face on the counterattack. The two step back a bit, and eli launches into a feint punch forcing Bost'ck left only to be punched by his real attack. This sends Bost'ick back a few steps. "That...that was good he remarked. Tyrondo War Academy?"

"Nope." Eli responds with a smile. "Just my teacher back home." Bost'ick lunges forward only to be avoided easily. Eli's attempt to counterpunch whil Bost'ick was off balance is blocked squarely.

Eli launches a smart lower body kick that Bost'ick can't avoid. "Aw damn, my weakside." The two exchange a few punches and kicks that are blocked or dodged quite easily. The two men are sizing each other up and the tension builds.

Bost'ick then lands a kick square in the gut that causes a pained look of shock on Eli's face for half a second. The crowd gasps as Eli staggers back a few steps. Only to have Eli straighten out and say "Folks, that looked worse than it was." Some laughetr erupts at Eli's cockyness. Eli throws another jab only to be blocked easily.

Both fighters are starting to show signs of fatigue and teh sweat is pouring down their faces. The two fighters again go through a quick series of punches and counterpunches all blocked. The crowd is getting more amped up at the flurry of action between the two skilled fighters.

Eli gets a lucky small shot into Bost'ick who counterpucnhes for a minor hit. The two back up slightly and circle. "Tired yet?" Eli asks with a smile. "Nope. You?" Bost'ick responds. "I could go all night." And Eli gets a fresh zeal in his eyes like.

Eli weakly sweeps the leg, and Bost'ick counter attacks with a kick. Eli responds to that with a spinning jump kick that has his knee to the face. Blood goes everywhere.

The crowd goes nuts as Bost'ick falls to the mat cupping his nose.

"We have blood! Stop the fight!" The announcer calls. The two fighters walkback to their lines. The referee talks to Bost'ick and looks at his nose. The Ref then signals for him to leave the arena and walks over to Eli and raises his arm. "Winner by submission! Electric Eli!!!!!!!!!!!"

Eli Wager 1000 wins 1500 plus 1000 for wining the fight
Cuspar eli proxy nothing
So Leet-500 wins 750
Klak- 25 via Syric wins 38
Syric- 300 wins 450
Dood-300 wins 450
Bulwark - No wager

I'll update accounts in a bit. And Wailer I will do your casino bender in a bit.

Cuspar silently raises both fists in celebration, somewhat shocked by the ferocity of Eli's winning kick. He goes to the cashier to collect the winnings on Eli's proxy bet.

You enter the casino with 5429cr.

You play 27 hands before you total 500cr lost, but by this point your balance is 11229. The net is +5800.

You wager that on one hand 1d20[20]+2 wisdom modifier +2 force cheat= 24 a 5 times payout on that hand of 29,000. This brings your total balance to 40,229cr (The casino now owes you 34,800cr).

You now have another dark side point.

As you collect your chips a stern looking security guard comes to you and asks you to come with him. "Our Casino Director would like to congratulate you on your winnings personally."

No it was the same casino, you even specified.

You are led back through a long maze of back halls, elevators, and windowless rooms on your way to Mr. Eshan's office. Like your friends before you, they take any weapons and commlinks you have and seat you in a chair in front of Mr. Eshans desk. Slowly turning around Mr. Eshan looks at you and says. "You are having one hell of a night, aren't you? What's your name?" He smiles big.
