Eli takes his normal 4 hours of "meditative" rest, then gets up early and goes looking for a farmers market for some fruit and bread for a light breakfast. After said breakfast I head out and get my cardio work in along with some additional stretching. I'll head back to my room, get cleaned up then until I get Bulwark's message I'll be studying my datacards, at which point I'll head over to Bantha, swinging by Cuspar's room on the way to pick him up.

So Leet goes back to his room and hides his credit chips in a very questionable place.

Wakes up feeling refreshed but a little sore from the placement of the credit chips and heads down to the bar in the Dusty Bantha to await the arrival of the group. Should any of the group be there by the time I get up, I head over to their table with credit chips in bag, not flaunting them.

Bran, could I get breakfast and something to clear the cobwebs out of my head?

Dood buys a Bloody Stump (a double, extra spicy) and some breakfast, tipping 15%. He then slides into the booth.

The Dusty Bantha is mostly empty not known for being a great breakfast spot. Bran takes your orders and you hear the kitchen start stirring in response. A few minutes later Bran's brother in-law comes out with a serving droid.

"Let's see, you got the Dewback Blood Sausage, Nuna eggs over easy and Toast" Passing a plate to So Leet.

"You got the Bloody Stump, Lokian Wheat Pancakes, dewback Back Bacon, and Nuna eggs scrambled with cheese." Passing a plate to Dood.

"And for soldier boy we have a plate of hashed tubers and scrambled eggs." Passing a plate to Klak.

"Here are the two mugs of Lum for you"
He says dropping two large mugs in front of Syric "None of my business, but she must have been one hell of a woman to make you drink this much this early."

"And here is a plate of fruits and some spiced jerky and a caf for you." Passing a plate to Wailer and then a steaming cup.

Cuspar is already awake, when Eli knocks on his door. He's clearly energized, and focused.

Morning, champ! Your big win last night has me energized, and focused on what we need to do. We spent a lot of time planning yesterday, but I'm hoping we've woken up to enough credits to get a downpayment on a ship and get this search started. Now, let's get some nice seafood for breakfast!

Cuspar walks into the Bantha feeling like this:
Image

He sits down with the others, after ordering a blue milk and a platter of raw faa and laa fish with a side of kelp.

Friends, I apologize for my eagerness and zeal yesterday. I'm loyal to a fault, and deeply believe in certain truths, and perhaps I presented those sides to me too much. I want to find our friend, and I want to start finding him TODAY. We'll only slow that process by fighting amongst ourselves. I don't care who we have to shoot right in the freaking face, but let's get to it. It turns out that Eli is credits-in-the-bank when it comes to a fight, so we did alright last night. Did anyone else have good fortunes last night?

Moments later his brother in law come out again with a blue milk, dewback bacon, lokian wheat pancakes, nuna eggs over easy.

Holding up one of the empty mugs to Bran's brother-in-law, and after seeing his companions with solid food for breakfast, Syric asks for an order or nausage and dustcrepes to go alone with his remaining mug.

Looking to Cuspar, "Yesterday was yesterday, and today is a new day. You are correct Brother Cusp, we have a job to do today." he says with a friendly nod.

Dood looks at So Leet.

"I believe our financial situation is fairly positive. If I recall correctly, So is sitting on a stash of credits that - combined with our initial investment from Rowan and Eoc - should provide us with enough to purchase a ship and fit it out with a decent load of equipment.

It would appear that our cranial weather vane here is quite handy in a casino, assuming you only want to be able to visit the casino once. You should know that Mr. Leet and I have been banned from ever setting foot in a Parsec Gaming establishment, and that it is likely that The Exchange has our images distributed to their various business interests in this sector - at least."

Syric spoke, but with his mouth full all that could be head was "marweb sensecan sukmy asshh"

Coughing down his food with a delicious drink of Lum, "I agree with Dood, now let's get a ship and get out of here."

"So, did you ever get a chance to find a better system to look up more on Kunga or Porky's previous comings and goings? Maybe if we know more about what got him into trouble in the first play we'd be better prepared. Maybe we can find out more about Sargo too, though I heard his men were running the casino I can't be too sure of the validity of that information. I don't know how we'll get an audience with an Exchange boss like him, but he might help us get to Kunga"

Dood looks at Syric and then back to So Leet.

"We can confirm that Sargo's men are running the casino. Beyond that, I'll have to apologize if interrogating our so-called host while he threatened us didn't cross my mind. I think it's safe to say that the only reason we were released unharmed is that Mr. Eshan, the administrator of the casino, was able to determine who my father is - though honestly I feel that he could have just as easily tried to turn that against us."

Dood finally breaks his stare at the Cerean slicer, who is obviously uncomfortable sitting with the group. Confident that he is the source of this discomfort, Dood sets about eating his breakfast and finishing his drink.

We have enough credits for our own ship ALREADY??!! Well, men, future casino opportunities be damned - we've got a head start that we never expected! Eat up - and let's go buy a ship! If we can start investigating where PC ended up sooner, all the better. And if we DO decide to take on some legitimate shipping gigs around here, perhaps we can leverage that into finding out a bit more about Sargo and Kunga. There were enough of us NOT in the casino that we still have the advantage of some relative anonymity.

Klak was about to brag about his night of comfort at the hand of a loyal benefactor when he realized what Dood had said.
Yes. The accommodations were fine. Your deep respect of this soldier does not go unnoticed. Im sure you understand I will be one of the greatest soldiers in the galaxy in due time, and making a friend of me is a wise choice."

Klak looked at his meal which he had neither ordered nor paid for and back at Dood. Thinking only If I continue to be treated so, no harm will come of my rum swilling brother in arms.

Klak began eating as quickly as possible. His eyes were redder than ever both being that they were normally red and the hangover was solidly settled in. He looked upon the group and stated "Im all for getting a ship today. We may want to set up a small office space here and hire a secretary that can be trusted. That way we can coordinate our efforts as it is likely our group may divide up at some point in this search. A legitimate office space will help us schedule these runs and have a place to base out of."

Klak finished his meal and wiped his face with his black tunic (now more of a off brown thanks to the dust and decay). He continued on "I also think we should head straight for this Kunga. We are in an inevitable march towards meeting Sargo but something tells me that whatever led to our friends being banned from the casino will not put us in the good graces of Sargo. Perhaps it is best to go straight for Kunga. A good fight may help all of us. Thats a soldiers strategy for sure."

Klak looked around the table for a cup of Ale, it was too early and the sobriety made his hangover seem real.

What's the catch? There is no way some legit businessman is going to give us stealth mods for a ship he has never seen or a group he knows nothing about. Suicidial enough to attempt to run a Sith Blockade or not. Which I would also like to point out that doing it is going to be incredibly dangerous and getting ourselves shot up by the Sith will in no way help us in our duties to PorkChop.

"While I am all for making some extra credits and setting up a storefront, lets not forget that the Sith have a significant lead on us, have better resources and faster ships. Farting around on Tatooine will be the same as handing Porkchop over to them.", Bulwark says sternly. He glances around the table to make sure that everyone understands. Dood looks up at Eli.

"My guess, my pugilistic friend, is that 'The Catch' is this mission, and that Votar will likely have instructed his men to place some sort of tracking beacon on the ship."

Dood finishes another bit of eggs.

"But if the group wishes to not take up Votar on his offer, I don't know that there's much I can say that will dissuade them from charging headlong toward a confrontation with an Exchange boss with no way of escaping unnoticed should that be needed.

Speaking of ship enhancements, since we're all in such a rush to get offworld, would I be correct in assuming that one of the ships we have as an option is ready to go, as-is?"
Dood asks as he looks around at the group that visited the shipyards.

Dood raises an eyebrow at Bulwark. "Perhaps if someone would answer my question about what ships are available, what they cost, and their state of readiness, I could answer some of your questions. My best guess, based on what Votar told us, is that the enhancements would take a day or two - depending on the state of our ship. You're asking me what I think we should do with incomplete information. My answer is to complete the information."
