I think I may have played more Eve with you than SWG

and in SWG I think I spent more time with Gandy when we were grinding entertainer/musician/dancer xp in the cantina
Eli missed the information about Sargo having an issue with Kunga about some fixed pod-races. To me as a player this seems like it would be an obvious angle to try to exploit. Then again I usually play a scoundrel-type of character in most PnP games so I have a fairly sneaky mindset. Not that I would advocate we try to get a ship and/or a bunch of other stuff from him, however if the Sargo thing is legit and he does have a beef, he may be open to having a 3rd party go gain a measure of revenge on Kunga for him, and could reward them as well. Hell, even just going and talking to the guy and having him give us his blessing could be beneficial as minor though he may be, he's still Exchange. So if a bigger fish in the Exchange pond tells us it's ok to go mess with Kunga then theoretically we don't have to worry about Exchange backlash down the road.Whiteness wrote:Furiel, what did Eli miss? I didn't see where he asked something and didn't get an answer but I am usually on at work fighting websense for every pageview or on my phone so I definitely could of missed something.
I would have liked to know more about the shipyard before we saw Buppo, but in the end that was just checking out one option. I think a ship would be good for us, since it will give us some flexibility on where and when we go, but I'm open to options if anyone brings up any.
edit: I think I see Eli's question, but the mon cal and thread being locked kind of interrupted it.

Again, not advocating we get in bed with this guy, but if we are smart about it we could land some information to help us and perhaps even a reward just for going and doing something we were planning on doing anyway...
That was a lot of time in the Cantina.Whiteness wrote:It's pretty sad, I think this is the most 'game' I've played with you fucks

Well one thing that I think maybe i missed, or had just assumed, was that Sargo was on Tat, which means waiting til we hit space to discuss that angle would be conter-productive. However in review where Sargo is located has never been stated, so Joun, where is Sargo in case we decide to speak with him?Whiteness wrote:I don't think you're the only one who saw that angleFuriel wrote:Eli missed the information about Sargo having an issue with Kunga about some fixed pod-races. For anyone who knows about the Exchange they know that Sargo is one of the core couple bosses who run the show. A good parallel is the five families of the New york Mafia, he would be thehead of one. Sargo is not usually on Tat, but has operations here. He travels around a lot, and generally it is difficult to get an audience with him directly. It would be like trying to talk to Al Capone back in the 1920s. He also keeps his current location secret preferring to work through lieutenants etc etc.Furiel wrote:Well one thing that I think maybe i missed, or had just assumed, was that Sargo was on Tat, which means waiting til we hit space to discuss that angle would be conter-productive. So I was kinda right then. If we want to work the Sargo angle we can do that here, or at least set the groundwork for it if there isn't a Lt here to meet with. Ok Whitey, when you are done there I'm going to need you to do that voodoo that you do so well with thisBlackferne wrote:For anyone who knows about the Exchange they know that Sargo is one of the core couple bosses who run the show. I was also thinking about getting to Kunga through his advisor who leaves to visit his mistress since Kunga rarely leaves his compound.Furiel wrote:So I was kinda right then. I don't see anything here about glasses of rodia alesFor the next day (and only a day) anytime Syric reaches for his flask when he is about to put it to his lips he'll reseal it and put it away without thinking.
