Syric will make his way towards the door and give the others a final look as he raises his hand to knock. If no one objects, he will give the door a few raps and listen closely.

Behind the door any shouting and movement stops. It is an eerie quiet in a moment that hangs on the air much in the way rocks don't.

Finally the door gets two knocks from the other side.

The sound of metal rattling is hear and the giant left door starts to be pulled open.

A blueish horned creature about 4 feet tall slightly hunched pops his head in the opening.

Tony: Clearly the creature is a fairy and he is speaking in the Abyssal/Fey trading language "Komens", but you can tell he has a speech impediment, probably due to an enlarged tongue which causes him to slur his words.

Based on legends, stories, anecdotes, a puppet show you saw when you were 7, and his body language imps are not the "hit first, ask questions later types". That said they can be tricky to deal with, and can be dangerous. They often speak other languages.

To the imp, Trinal says quietly and politely, in Draconic- "Greetings. Can you understand me?"

The imp cocks his head

"Patcha saast con tosso pergt?" He says back. The speech has a different "vibe" than abyssal, but isn't draconic.

Trinal says in Common "Well, he doesn't speak Draconic. I'll try Elven. If anyone else knows a tongue to try, might be a good time to say hello."

To the imp, continuing to maintain a neutrally polite posture and expression, Trinal says in Elven "Hello. I don't understand the language you have used. Perhaps you speak this one?"

"Elf speak okay speak. Who is you? Why is you standing where you stand?" He replies in elvish.

To the rest of the group, Trinal says "He speaks Elven, at least enough that we can talk. He's asking why we're here. Zelvo, what would you like me to tell him?"

To the imp, he says "Ah, good. I'm glad we can speak to each other."

OOC: I'm trying not to get too far ahead before anyone else has a chance to act.

Zelvo looks a bit upset that an imp is here and asks through his teeth "Ask him what in the bloody hell he's doing in the sacred and revered tomb of the dwarvish people with his hunched back and disgusting horns. Who does he think he is!?"

Victae puts her hand on Zelvo's back and whispers something in his ear.
