"I'm ready to move on, unless Zelvo or any other wish to take a break." Stavis will look to the group to see if there is any request for a break.

"Tony Plush concurs we should keep moving. Zelvo care to guide us down to the smelting areas?"

Trinal nods.

"Off to the thorium we go." Zelvo says as he leads you out a side door and into a long spiral tunnel than seems to go on forever before opening to a medium size arched room with large wooden doors that are currently closed. That prompts a "Huh...don't remember that closed last time." from Zelvo.

Victae draws her polearm in caution.

Tony will put a finger to his mouth gesturing for silence.

Tony will try to listen through the doors.

Stavis ensuring he is far enough from the door will whisper to the group "Do we want some added stealth before we open the doors?" [OOC Asking if people want me to perform Traveller's Camouflage.]

Trinal readies his staff.

Looking around silently, he scans the room, searching for any signs of who or what might have closed the doors and why.

Tony you hear some activity behind the doors. Some hammering and some voices but cannot make out what is being said.

Trinal you see on the ground foot prints in the dust. Some are just boots, others seem to be hooves.

Do I have an idea of what language they are using even if I can't make out the individual words?

Trinal quietly steps over to the boot and hoofprints, attemping not to disturb them.

Well the boot prints are clearly from bipedal humanoids. The hooves though do not look like quadraped tracks most likely.

OOC: Clarify, please- they do or do not look like quadraped tracks? From what you wrote it sounds like you meant they don't, but wanted to be sure.

And if so, do I know of any two-footed hooved creatures?

not quadrapeds. And Satyrs, minotaurs, various demons are all known to have hooves.

Trinal gestures to the rest of the group, but does not say anything. He points to the hoofprints on the floor and then nods his head to the door meaningfully.

Tony will gather everyone a bit away from the door then in a whisper...

"There is somethings inside, they are communicating and doing work of some kind but Tony Plush can't tell the language or what they are saying. Is there a different entrance we can check or somewhere we might be able to sneak in better to assess the situation?"

[Staris]

With the group talk of trying to sneak in, Stavis will go ahead and spend the 5 minutes to perform Travelers Camouflage while the group discusses the plan.

Zelvo whispers "There is another door like this one on the far side, but I don't think we can get there from here. It was for access from the southern districts which took the most damage in the collapse. And there would probably be a way in the mines below they weave about and culminate into a few tracked passages that go to the smelting furnaces in there."

Trinal whispers grimly "there's something on two legs with hooves that went through here recently. Minotaur, satyr, something like that."

[Furiel]

"Then the direct approach is probably more appropriate. How do we want to approach, open the doors and try to parlay, or go in swinging?"

[Staris]

looks to Zelvo "Which would you prefer, trying to be amicable only helps if your willing to let them stay. If your going to treat them as trespassers a fight is likely unavoidable. Of which we will be willing to help remove."

"Regardless we can try opening the door quietly to sneak in to get a better understanding of what they are up to. Obviously ready to fight or talk should that fail."
