Trinal says, striding forward authoritatively, "There's been an attack. We're not sure by who yet, but we've been tasked to move the prisoner - " he indicates the Bishop - "to a more secure location, in case the attack is an attempt to free him."

The guards seem relieved to see you (effect of diplomacy) standing more relaxed with their weapons lowered. But they also are a bit unsure. (result of bluff) "Good to see reinforcements. But Commander said under no circumstances were we to open the gates until the Blood Priest arrives for pickup."

[Whiteness]

Syric follows Trinal forward and adds, "You hear what's going on above don't you? Can you defend the bishop from an all out assault by a highly skilled attack group?"

[Jimer Lins]

"You're absolutely right, but things are a bit hectic right now with the attack and the Commander was forced to make a decision. How do you think we got here? We were sent by the Commander directly because he's dealing with things upstairs."

"All right. Where is the prisoner being taken?" He asks getting his keys out to the general jail door "When one of the lieutenants come blistering I want to point them in the right direction."

[Jimer Lins]

"No problem, we'll need to move him back after this anyway. Tell them that the Commander wanted him taken to the blue safe house. They should know what that means."

Only way out is up.

The guard opens the gate and takes out the man on the map who is the Cross.

As you guys walk back to the stairs teh guard has one final question "You guys some kind of new unit? I never seen that tabard before? Who are you lot?"

[Staris]

Stavis will pull up his hood before approaching and will look to check his gear in preparation of moving out to try and keep his face concealed "We are the Phoenix Guard, personal guard of Duke Heronem, who where loaned out to the Commander when the commotion started."

"We're called the Phoenix Guard. The tabard's a bit flashy, I know. " Trinal smiles easily at the man as we head to the stairs. "You'd be surprised at how boring being a 'special' unit can be. Thanks for the help, we'll be sure to mention how smoothly everything went to the Commander."

"Okay then. May the Blood God bless you fine folks!" He says waving you off.

Nodding with a friendly wave, Trinal and co will head up the stairs.

When the group gets upstairs as long as the room is still empty Stavis will approach the back window to see that the coast is clear before opening the door.

Waiting on the dock on the back of the city fortress is Teagor with the boat.

[Jimer Lins]

OOC, Han Solo style: "Now's our chance, go!"

IC, we'll march the Bishop over to the boat and board.

[Staris]

Stavis will look to Tony and Trinal "May I have one of the communication stones. Unless Teagor denies my entry I will take the boat ride out of town and meet back up with you guys when you leave town as I doubt I'll have an easy time leaving when they searching those that leave town."

Whether or not his request is granted will board the boat, unless Teagor denies him and then help the Bishop on board. "I know it may seem a bit confusing to follow but we just broke you out sir."

[Jimer Lins]

"Here you go, take mine. I'm sure there's no problem getting you on the boat."

Trinal whispers to the Bishop, "On board now. We're getting you out of here, but we have to move fast. No questions right now, our ruse may not last."

[Jimer Lins]

OOC: I assume we're all boarding the boat, no? Seems the most expedient method of getting away.

[Furiel]

To the Bishop:
"You're in good hands now, go with Stavis and the man outside Tony Plush suspects you already know and they will escort you safely out of town and get you headed back to friendly lands. May Avandra continue to look over you on your journey friend."

To Trinal
"Do you want the second stone while Stavis is away or shall Tony Plush continue to hold it?"

[Staris]

[OOC if we can sure but figured everyone else go back to the tavern make themselves known so the group can still work in town for the next quest we still have. If everyone can get on could still drop you guys off closer to the tavern.]

[Jimer Lins]

"You go ahead and hang onto it for now, Tony."

OOC: I figured we'd all board the boat, get away from the scene of the crime and divest ourselves of the tabards so we're not so obvious when we get back, and make our way on foot back to the inn/tavern.

[Staris]

[OOC k then its just waiting on Joun to let us know if the boat is big enough. If not and another person can get on could have that person take all the tabards minus mine get dropped of closer to the tavern and with the rest of foot.]

After helping the Bishop on board, will put away his tabard and take his cloak off putting it on the Bishop to help make him less noticeable. Will give the Bishop a quick checkup, giving any minor aid that the bishop may need. After all that will help Teagor in manning the boat until they are a mile out from the city walls.

"Tabards in the bag with the flails, Stavis can take that bag with him while he's waiting for us so we don't have any incriminating evidence on us in case of detainment and search."

Tony will shed his tabard and put it in the bag and hold it out for the others to do the same.
