Yes, next to Leeds Bridge and the graveyard. The bishop is held in the city strong hold. The boom seems to be from beyond that.

Yes it is. Stavis will quietly approach the city Strong hold looking for any signs of guards.

[OOC I went ahead and updated the map if we care to use it at this point. The only reason I bring it up is if I can I would be stealthing behind the Military Boathouse to head straight to the building other wise it would be head up the road towards it.]

The city guards you see are scrambling along the road from Leeds bridge pas the boat house towards the barracks. There is shouting and yelling for aid. A cart rambles past in a hurry.

The party sneaks towards the military boathouse. You see the boat house scrambling to gather their buckets to start filling up in the river. There are about 5 teenage boys about but they don't seem to pay attention to you.

Stavis will look for a door to enter the city strong hold, preferring some place close to the docks to help reducing having to figure out the route to the dock. If there isn't a door will head towards the dock side unless stopped by a party member.

Coming to the dock side of the City Fort where teh bishop is held you see teh door closed allowing people to go in and out on that side. The door appears to be barred from the interior.

Stavis will make a quick look around to see if there is another door or windows that could be used to get inside without having to get passed the barred door from the outside.

The windows on this face of the building have bars on them allowing archers to shoot out, but make getting in pretty difficult.

Stavis will carefully approach one of the windows close to the door to look inside.

Looking inside the window you see some guardsmen yelling orders at other guards men coming down the stairs. Some have head out the open front door (other side of the building) and others are positioning to secure this building.

Is the barring such that it would prevent a thievery roll from undoing the bar and opening it from the outside?

The door's construction would have to be damaged in order for you to lift the bar. Your normal thieves tools would not have the length nor the structural support to properly lift the bar.

Basically you can assume it is constructed similar to this style.

Stavis works his way back to the group "Unless someone else has a better idea, we either charge in from the front, try and pass ourselves off as guards that a lord brought and where ordered to ensure the Bishop is secure, or try and break the door down."

"Tony Plush was thinking the two of us try to sneak in the front and open the back for the others. In all the confusion odds are good we should be able to pull it off."

"That is a better option, we will just have to try and time it right so we don't try entering when a group is heading out the door. If either Trinal or Syric watches from the window to help coordinate should minimize that risk."

"Then let's make it happen. Keep watch, if you hear an alarm come up then make with the rescuing." Tony says with a wink

"Make sure you have the other sending stone, Tony", Trinal whispers.

The rest of us will try to stay inconspicuous and if anyone looks our way just act like we're some delegation watching the chaos and discussing it amongst ourselves.

Tony and Stavis make their way around the building to the front. After a squad of 10 soldiers exit the door, Tony and Stavis poke their heads in to see a large hall approximately 90 feet by 25 feet. It has 8 columns and two soldiers in a guard like stance looking back to a steel gateway that separates this hall from the back part of the fortress and presumably the back door to teh dock. The gateway appears to be open and there are 5 soldiers visible past the iron gate structure.

Stavis will look to see if there are any signs that this door can also be barred.

If this door can be barred you don't see how.
