On the way to the inn Syric will stop briefly here and there to try and chat up any of the locals to try and find more information on the comings and goings of Brackton.

Since I didn't get a confirmation from Joun I would like wise assume we are still on our way to the blacksmith.

"If its important enough we could forgo the blacksmith and just head back. I can either head there later or just assume they won't have any Thorium."

The trip to the blacksmith was not productive in the acquisition of thorium. Though you do get confirmation that there would be plenty in the "Haunted remains of Silver Deep", and the blacksmith warns you that only the bravest or most foolish souls would dare enter there.

@Syric Chatting with locals you find that the snow was bitterly cold. Colder than they remember in a while. They talk about how they wonder if this will damper any post baptismal celebrations the baroness had planned. Also they talk about some out of town nobles with fancy and expensive looking clothes have recently came into town for the baptism.

At Tony's insistence we will take the "scenic" route back to the inn. The scenic route including passing through the warehouse district.

Walking through the warehouse district you see workers loading stuff onto carts headed to the river to go on barges. Tony notices a bit of graffiti in chalk. It is a Hand with an upside down T in it. You make it back to the inn a few minutes later.

On the way back to the inn I'll whisper to Stavis

'Meeting is at sundown, and we'll need to bring our gear."

Stavis will respond in whisper "Understood, will we want to keep some of the group hidden or that the rebels here are close to taking action of freeing the sacrifice?"

Once we're all back together, we'll update the others on our little adventure over dinner. "So it looks like we have to find this person tomorrow morning. What went on with you folks?"

Syric looks to Tony and Stavis "Did either of you hear about the fancy looking nobles that came to town for the baptism?"

"Oh not much, we found one of the emeralds for our endgame, found out that Thorium should be plentiful at our next stop and my contacts want to see us all at sundown with our game faces on. Things went well on your end it sounds like."

"Excellent work! Yes, things went well, although I found what we were doing somewhat distasteful. Still, I think the goal of disrupting their actions is a worthy one. What's the plan for this evening, then?"

"Not sure of the exact plan, all Tony Plush knows is that we are to meet them at sundown and be prepared. Considering the timeframe we're looking at it's safe to assume that we'll be taking action tonight so we should definitely be wearing our party clothes."

"Sounds good to me. Could use a change of pace from all the bloody walking. Of course, I'll probably feel differently in a few hours." Trinal winks at Tony and digs into his food.

Time passes.

Victae spends part of the afternoon napping, then doing some light exercise and stretching.

Sunset nears and the party reassembles in the inn main room. The weather outside is cold.

"Where to Tony?" Victae asks in her armor with a winter cloak over it.

Stavis during the break will rest a bit in his room and when he joins the group will be wearing his leather armors, the ski mask, and his cloak.

Tony spends the day resting as well. A little before sundown Tony will come downstairs and have an early dinner. Plushdamental #12 - never fight on an empty stomach.
Once everyone is downstairs

"Just a little place nearby, if you will all follow me, it's time to go dancing."

Tony leads the party out of the inn into the cold afternoon air. The wind is biting cold, but not very strong. Th snow is falling gently as he leads you across the river into a sketchy neighborhood. You can tell tony is a bit paranoid because he periodically asks you to stop, act normal, backtrack etc. At some point impatiently Victae asks Tony if he is lost and whether we need to stop and ask for directions. "Tony Plush is the direction." He replied witha wink and a smile. Victae groaned and rolled her eye at that.

After a bit you arrive at a small apartment on the second floor of a tenants housing building. Inside you see two men fixing tea. One is mid 40s, balding, sporting a goatee. The other is mid 20s and blonde. Both are human. The older one introduces himself.

"I'm Teagor. And my younger friend here is Klovis. We have heard great things about you from Master Plush. We look forward to working alongside you as we rescue the Bishop from the city Administration building tonight. Anyone want tea or biscuits before we begin?"

Klovis smiles and lifts a tray with small cookies and shortbreads on it.

"That sounds wonderful, thank you. A pleasure to meet you." Trinal will take a piece of shortbread and nod his thanks to Klovis.

"We have learned that the bishop is being held in a cell in the basement of the city administration building. Tonight is a new moon, so we figured the night would be a valuable ally. This afternoon Klovis got from his stores a barrel of gunpowder should that be needed. I have a map of the building here and wanted to get ideas on how we might make a strike. I have some ideas, but Master Plush indicated you were highly capable, so I figured I would see what you thought." Teager says.
