@Stavis you find another jester mask as well as a "winter mask" which would be like a ski mask. you figure that plus a hood should be pretty nondescript especially during the winter.

"Ah that little weasel Makel finally pulling his weight and bringing me working types. Let me see here, wat 'ave we got?" He looks at Syric pretty closely "You a natural born killer? You look like you punch first and ask questions never. And your girlfriend back there is a drunk who throws a wild punch, but hit the booze after your promises of riches ain't came through." He turns to Trinal "And I guess you be the brains of the outfit. Some tells me you been beat a few times and so you paired up with the killer here and his dame. Try as you might you don't always stop him from biting when he should be barking though."

He laughs "I'm liking what Makel found here.Dis will work nicely. How would you three like some paying work, three days tops. It has a little violence, but nothing killer won't enjoy."

After paying for them. "I hear there is a jewel shop, would be able to point me in right direction."

After paying a few gold for the jester mask and a few silver for the ski mask, you two head up to the jewelers shop.

The place has two guards at the door. The master jeweler is inside polishing some stone.

"Looking to buy or sell?" a gruff dwarf asks.

[Staris]

Stavis will say while holding his money bag shaking it slightly to show he has money "Buying."

"That is a refreshing change. What are ye looking for?" the Jeweler asks.

[Whiteness]

Very flatly Syric says, "What's the work, and what's the pay?" trying to not let his distaste for the man in front of him show.

@Trinal and Syric

"Follow me." Brick says leading you through the door he came out of down some stairs and into a basement with a man bloodied up a bit tied to a table.

"This man, is a lieutenant in the Army of Blood. His division is tasked with collecting reliquary for them bastards. Aye have a buyer who is looking to recover one of his collection which was looted by these bastards. Now I have been working him over a bit this morning, but the bastard ain't talking. What I need from you lot is a location for their warehouse in this county, where we can find the log book, and retrieving the said item. Do you think you are up to the task killer?" He says smiling a toothy grin at Syric.

Trinal keeps his face expressionless. "You want us to extract information from your prisoner, then? I'm not certain we'd be any better at it, but we have no love lost for the Army of Blood. What forms of remuneration are in the offing?"

[Blackferne]

@Trinal et co

"I can give you 500 gold now, and if you can retrieve the item I'll throw in whatever you find in that storehouse that tickles your fancy except the item I need for my buyer." Brick says. "And I've got high hopes you lot can work this mug in ways I can't."

"Well, let's see what we can do. Do you mind if we speak to him alone? Perhaps the change of scenery will make him more tractable."

[Blackferne]

"By all means. I'll be upstairs if you need anything." Brick and his lackey leave.

[Jimer Lins]

Trinal looks at Syric and Victae. "Well. This is an interesting morning. I'm surprised at how accurate he was about us." Trinal looks around the room significantly, then scratches his ear while raising his eyebrows at Victae and Syric.

"Shall we?"

Stavis signal to Tony to stay by the door before bowing slightly to the jewler saying in as close to a well scripted statement to seem like he has said as much many times over now "Good day sir, I am Stavis of the Phoenix troop. My troop has had the good fortune of being charged with being the main performers for a Duchess's ball and though we perform with high quality masks. She in her infinite wisdom felt they where not to her high standards and in her good graces has commissioned my mask as well as the craftsman for the rest. Justly so she has required that the troop provide the gems for the rest seeing as we will keep those masks with the main mask being placed in her gallery after our performance."

"So far in my travels I have been able to collect all but for 3 emeralds of good size and thorium, though I was going to enquirer with the blacksmith for the later after here."

[Blackferne]

@ Trinal "I'm not a drunk, or his girlfriend." Victae says annoyed at the situation,

@Stavis "We are running low on gems of good size, and emeralds in particular. I have one I could part with for say 75gold?" The dwarf pulls a proper sized gem out of a box behind him.

[Whiteness]

"Why Trinal, you're not agreeing with him on the point of Victae being a drunk are you?" Syric says with a shit-eating grin directed at the elf 'lady'.

Looking back to trinal"Well Brains, how do we start? Torture is not really my thing, but that storehouse of collected reliquary does pique my interest. "

With that said he walks over to the bloodied LT. "I'll make this simple. I don't care about you, your life is meaningless to me as is your death. Tell us what we want to know and we will take you with us. Once we know you're not lying we will cut you free." Syric then draws closer to the prisoner "If you lie to us... well, I think you know better than to do that.."

Trinal sighs. "Well, so much for playing along with his assumptions in case they're listening. Ah well."

OOC- Wasn't the guy in another room?

Trinal steps in front of him. "Put the knife away for the moment; I think our friend here can be reasonable. So. Bluster aside, do we do this the easy way or the hard way? I'd rather do this without any more of these crude methods. But we do need that information." He smiles at the man.

@Trinal - "What can you offer me?" he asks as if you are the 'good cop'.

"I think we can start with the obvious- your life. We're the only thing between you and a rather nasty demise, I'd wager. I imagine that if you give us what we seek, we can convince him to let you live. Without us in the picture, I expect he'd eventually either get what he wanted and then eliminate you, or just eliminate you while trying to get what he wanted. It seems to me that we can be more reasonable- that YOU can be more reasonable. Obviously you're in a lot of trouble, but I'd like to help you and eliminate any unnecessary violence."

Trinal gestures at Syric. "My friend here is much more likely to take the direct approach."

Stavis will lean close with his hands behind his back to examine the Gem but not too close to try and keep from worrying the jeweler of thefting it "Yes this will do wonderfully!"

As he gives the jeweler the gold "I'm well aware of the limited stock throughout the whole area. I fully expect to have to visit at least half a dozen more towns to find the last two."

[Whiteness]

Syric grabs the prisoner's hand and breaks a finger to punctuate Trinal's comment.

"It seems to me that the most important word you used there is 'if'. I'd suggest not letting them find out. But that strikes me as a much better option than the alternative we're looking at here, wouldn't you say?"
