LPDnD: Raging Bull
"Unless this map is incorrect which seems unlikely, I say we go at least to the mantel, possibly stay another night then make our way back."
Re: LPDnD: Raging Bull
"We definitely need to get to the mantle, but I'd like to try and get out to fresh air if possible."

Re: LPDnD: Raging Bull
"If we can get there fast enough, absolutely but if we are staying the night any where in the maze I would prefer there. Two layers of defensible positions would make it the easiest location to defend in probably the whole maze."
Re: LPDnD: Raging Bull
Hey Gobo, you should start your axe training now on the fancy alter Cowhide has there.

Re: LPDnD: Raging Bull
"Assuming this map is correct, and there is no reason to think it's wrong, we don't have to worry really about a defensible position. We can easily go get the mantle and get out without encountering any further resistance. Although personally Tony Plush would prefer that we hunt down the last group of creatures in this labrynth and end them as well. We have not been sticking to a true day/night activity schedule so we would probably be best served to go get the mantle, eliminate the final group of creatures then get outside and we can make our assessment from there on whether we want to spend another night out or head right back to town."

Re: LPDnD: Raging Bull
I agree with Tony, We should clean up the last of his allies and probably permanently disable the remaining traps. We can approach them from the back to disable them.

Victae looking and the map says, "It is possible to get the mantle and engage the allies without engaging the traps. And even if we don't mess with the traps, out of concern we could label them on the wall to warn others."

"That sounds fine, either way we can discuss it further on the way to the mantle."
Before leaving, Syric will take the shrine to Orcus (or its pieces depending on others actions) put it into the hay and set it on fire.

Syric lights the fragments of the Minotaur's shrine. The fire burst quicker than expected.

@ Syric - In the moments you start the fire you think you see a horned demon in the flames looking back at you, then a quick second later it is gone.

Tony will take the map and lead the group back through the maze to where the mantle is to recover it. We will take the couple small detours required on the way there to mark the traps, but we will not disable them. Once we get to the room with the mantle Tony will take a moment in that room to search it for any other valuables before we move on.

Re: LPDnD: Raging Bull
Using the map you guys are able to go back to where the mantle is without issue. The room is really just a storage closet. There are a few amphora's of wine. A few scrolls which seem to have some religious significance to them.
You are able to use the map to approach T4 which is another fire jet trap. There is no way to disable you can see form the outside, but yu guys do manage to write in every language you guys know that the room has fire jets and to avoid.
The T3 trap cannot be reached without first taking on E1. Do you guys want to do that or rest first?
The map notes that is a skeleton ally group.

Re: LPDnD: Raging Bull
We should check what kind of skeletons they are, the bursting ones gave us more problems than the minotaur.
If they're just mindless bags of bones, I'm more inclined now to just GTFO and get back to Kyros.

Re: LPDnD: Raging Bull
They aren't going to be the mindless ones...odds are decent there will be bursting ones if I had to guess. However we also weren't expecting the bursting thing last time either so now that we are aware we can use better tactics to account for that.
