Spintik will ready himself to cover the bone crushers.

I also have the Alertness feat, so i will not be surprised by what happens to my teammates.

Ham'mon will draw his sword and make ready, though he is incredibly disappointed that this one doesn't light on fire.

Map with key.

The map obviously is more than you have explored but it will give tactical options to both sides. :rave:

Roll initiative and stealth. Depending on how each roll is done will determine which of you guys get a surprise round.

Suprise round Qualified
Spintik
Trinal
Hammon

Initiative
Heroes
Villains

Note about surprise round:
P 267 PHB
If you get to act in the surprise round, you can take a standard action, a move action, OR a minor action. You can also take free actions. but can't spend action points.
After the surprise round we go to normal initiative order which you guys have won and we will move as we post. Once that is exhausted, the skellies move.

Waiting on Gobo and Ham'mon to see if they get a surprise round.

Using my surprise round:

Trinal casts Dancing Lightning. Attack is +9 Charisma vs Reflex, target is B. Using Knack for Success to get a +2 on attack.

3+9+2=15

Damage: 2d10+10: 3+10=13

If hit, both 1 and 2 take 4 points of damage.

Gobo doesn't get the surprise.

Moving on.
The enemy targets are as follows:
A,B,and C are skeletons with a magical fires surrounding them like you might imagine electrons orbiting the nucleus of an atom. They weave in and out in tight circles, occasionally changing direction or teleporting a few inches randomly around the body. Their skulls however are blazing much like this:
Image

1,2,and 3 are four armed scimitar wielding skeletons. (no fire to speak of)
Image

And t is a tiefling in dark red leather armor

Trinal. +2 for CA for surprise his attack is a 17 vs reflex on B misses.

Maizan is up next.

Ham'mon tightens his grip on his sword, and wheels around the wall and sneaks right up to C. As he brings his sword down, he whispers,

My name is Ham'mon Aeghs - Hand of Pelor and his radiant light of justice. Your darkness is at an end!

He brings his sword down on C.

[ooc- not sure if we're waiting on more surprise rounds or not, but I'm posting my combat actions for our first full round, put in sequence as appropriate]

Trinal moves to the wall and casts Burning Spray into the corridor. It will cover C, 2 and B. Attack is +9 Charisma vs Reflex.

B: d20+9=7+9=16, dmg 8+9=17
C: d20+9=9+9=18, dmg 7+9=16
2: d20+9=2+9=11 dmg 1+9=8

(hopefully I'm getting all my bad rolls out of the way now, because this sucks so far)

The next melee attack against me until the end of my next round will cause the attacker to take 2 fire damage.

We can assume Maizan's surprise round will be a twin shot on C or 2 or both with a quarry and cupcakes for everyone.

If you guys want to start moving and processing your round 1 orders feel free and I'll just process as we get the stuff rolling. Note: Victae's desired square will be immediately to the west of Hammon. Gobo will probably choose the east of hammon (unless reese plays him and does otherwise) Unless someone needs us to do otherwise or has a better idea. I'll post victae's move later. (she can also be N of hammon and use the long spear's reach)

If they want to be E and W of ham'n'eggs that's fine, I'll just take this fight off then. Or spend the first 3 rounds circling around...

Well the idea would be to shift into the fray. Get on the far side. If you want to go in first, by all means.
