[OOC just to verify so one square deep?]

"Looks like the way to deactivate is over there" Stavis will point to the panel he saw when he noticed the pressure plate.

Btw rule for making a long jump

Athletics roll/10 is the distance in squares you jump. You cannot take a 10 on it you must roll.

If you do a runnign start you can divide by 5 instead of 10.

Trinal will apply his Knack for Success to the person making the leap, which provides a +4 to the roll.

Be careful trying to jump over as there are multiple plates. Stavis will indicate the next plate is in an every other configuration. Aka 1 square plate, 1 square safe, square plate, ect.

[OOC really regretting getting the extra heals in lieu of levitation.]

"Well, this type of thing is what Tony Plush trains for... Don't try this at home kids, Tony Plush is a trained professional."

Tony will make the jump, no running start required...

Athletics roll +11 for me, +4 from Trinal - jumping to make the indicated tile not sheer distance
[dice]0[/dice]

edit: [ooc]Don't regret the lack of levitation Starel, Tony's got this, +11 athletics base means I can leap 1 tile on anything but a 1, and my +11 thievery means I got the trap disabling as well. This is one of the things Tony is built for.[/ooc]

Staying in the middle, slow and steady just jumping 1 row at a time, this is no time to get cocky and end up getting skewered

Tony is past what appears to be the trap to some kind of panel. Inside is a total of 6 spring loaded mechanisms one for each groove you suspect. There is not a way to disable all in one motion that you can figure, but you quickly realize that if you fail on one it could reset the entire mechanism.

edit: I've edited the rule on it so if he has suceeded on a mechanism before he will get a bonus of +4 on a reroll because of a mess up. If he fails on a reroll of a previous success he will lose that bonus. If he gets a 1(before anything) that blade is in action and cannot be stopped.

"Ok, there is no central mechanism for the trap, each one is independant so this is going to take some work people. Tony Plush will let you know when each stage is cleared."

I'll be starting at the end closest to the rest of the party and working my way south.

Tony yanks his fingers out of the panel and sucks on a finger for a second, you can barely make out him muttering to himself as he gets back to work
