Since no one is objecting to Tony's plan the group goes what is commonly agreed to be north. You travel until you hit the wall. The corridor has stayed level.

The cardinal direction rundown.
North: Wall

East: You can see what is agreed to be east down a hall of similar construction and maintenance as what you were just in. You do not see the end of that hall or any doors down that way.

South: You can see south but not as far as where the entry door was.

West: Wall.

Tony will make a mark on the wall to indicate the enterance is directly to the south and that whe have not explored that direction.

Tony will then proceed down the hall to the east

Stavis do you really want to carve it? I think the sketching charoal would be better suited for the task.

@Tony you see no signs of traps or danger (besides the obvious getting lost in a maze).

The group follows tony down the hall a ways until it comes to a dead end.

Syric will look for anything that would show a door was here (cracks, marks on the floor where tiles or walls were moved, tracks that go through the wall, etc)

So 54 squares then by my math...
90 yards = 270 feet
270 feet / 5 feet per square = 54 squares

Tony turns back and walks back to the intersection, adds the dead end notation to his mark on the wall and also the notations to his map then proceeds back down the hallway south past the door and will follow that hallway to the next intersection, checking for traps along the way.

Perception for traps

[ooc]just to clarify the marks on the wall Tony is putting up are above head height so they will not be unintentionally or easily removed by anyone passing[/ooc]

The group goes West from the dead end. Adjusts the notes on the wall and proceeds south.

You pass the entry to the maze and keep walking south. Tony stops abruptly upon noticing some shallow grooves on the wall ahead on either side spaced 5 feet apart.

She also sees the shallow cuts along the wall.

[OOC yes it will be light so shouldn't take very long to make. I've had issues of chalk getting erased intentionally in previous games.

I will be the exception on the torches.]

Wow that is just cruel for a DM or other players to do.

[OOC to be fair the group probably deserved it by then and the gnome we where looking for liked to play tricks so it fit in pretty well rp wise.]

Stavis will look around to see if he sees anything that could be a trigger for activating a trap.

"Becarefull Tony, Victae, there appears to be a pressure plate in front of you." Stavis after taking some chalk will then carefully approach the plate indicating where it is when he is close enough by drawing a line a couple inches out on three sides, and will begin trying to determine how difficult it will be to disarm.

@Stavis The pressure plate appears to run the width of the hallway and extend about 5 feet deep. After that you surmise that there are 6 grooves that go along the wall across the ceiling and then come back down. This appears to be a pendulum blade trap. You do not see a way to deactivate it from here.
