Oh got it. I remembered reading, after your posts, that it takes about 18s to break obsidian.

Also, I have completed an automated Stone generator in my back yard. Please help yourself to it's use. You will need an enchanted diamond pickaxe (silk touch I think) to collect the stone, anything else will produce cobblestone. If going for cobblestone, please use at least an iron pickaxe. There is a furnace nearby and a chest with bucks of lava. I am going put up a portal to my lava stream beside the furnace as well and maybe a town portal too (1 block of dirt).

Also, My earthworks project is coming along nicely. Please drop off dirt if you have extra.

* There is a special portal in town. It can be linked to by more than one other portal. This allows you to build a portal at your house or whatever that lets you go to and from town quickly. Use a single dirt block for this.

I attempted to create this town portal and I received the following error message [LapisPortals]Could not create portal: Inventory in use.

If you go to the subway there are a bunch of portals ready to be used they just need a door and an item in the chest

Nevermind. I just added a 2nd door entrance in the back corridor.

There was talk last night of the next big community project.

How about a domino clockwork machine thingy. One sequence of automated move (ie block in a cart) ends and triggers a 2nd automated sequence (ie cannon shot or something similar), which then triggers a 3rd and so on.

I still like the idea of a giant Alvis statue. I have my rainbow wool farm, and can make stained clay. We could find a mesa or bryce biome for more.

For a cloud city that is 200 blocks across, we need a minimum of 63,000 of whatever block type we decide to use.

Attempted to log in this morning and got an error about the server not being updated. Client is running 1.76 now, server is still on 1.75 I think.

I was seeing a lot of connection errors the last few days, mostly java.io messages. There were also a lot of lag spikes.
