Stavis will put up his wand and pull out his flute and play for the Song of Rest for the short rest so everyone can calm themselves and mend any wounds they have.

Healing Surge +5.

[OOC Mazian add 1 more hp as my power card says +4 but my Charisma modifier is now 5]

[OOC to Maizan any that hit can't be retrieved so the question would be on the ones you missed.]

[ooc- that's spending a surge with a +5 on it, right?]

Trinal looks around. "Let's keep an eye on the stairs. You guys look around in here, I'll go out to the other room to do that, if someone could join me to help with that, we can search out there."

Trinal moves to the other room and does a search. What are those blue boxes, anyway?

Perception check: 18+1=19
The blue boxes are chairs sitting by the stairs.

You guys search and find in the lockers(the room where the crossbolters were) a lot of horrible smelling blankets (Goblins are gross), but also find a necklace, a belt, a ornately carved stick about 12 inches long, and 2 vials.

(Arcane check DC 15 to identify what they are)

Spintik, your arrows are all sufficient to reuse.

@everyone

Stavis your Cha modifier is still 4 not 5.

For combat attacks and spells cast the chance to hit is 1d20+cha+.5level+item bonus+ misc, but for damage and net effect when the card says +ability modifier) it is not taking into account the .5 level. I looked it up on forums to make sure I was doing it right with the professor.

Trinal identifies that the stick is a magic wand. Much like he saw in training [ooc: +1 to attack rolls and damage]

The necklace is an amulet of protection (+1 to Reflex, Fortitude, and Willpower defenses)

The belt is a belt of vigor (add +1 item bonus when you spend a healing surge)

The vials are healing potions (house rules on healing potions: minor action to drink, adds +10 to HP, does not cost you a healing surge)

[OOC then never mind would ask for clarity but I'm guessing that Song of rest would be +5 then since we wouldn't be in combat. Please correct Joun if wrong on that.]

Stavis when done resting will inspect the wand before requesting he be given it.

"Interesting. I personally use a staff, so if you know how to use it, you're welcome to it as far as I'm concerned. I think the rest of this could be more effective in the hands of those who tend to be in the thick of things. I generally try to avoid getting as close as I did just now."

Ham'mon pulls a blanket from the beds and wipes down his blade before re-sheathing it.

He walks the room, stopping at each goblin corpse for a moment, and then wanders into the room where Trinal and Spintik are and examines the doorway next to the stairs (I'm assuming that's a doorway).

[ooc- the belt and potions should probably go to the fighter types, maybe the amulet to Spintik because he's been a damage magnet]

The downstairs was clearly a barracks type arrangement for the tower. There was a firepit in the corner by the door, some beds, and lockers which you guys looked through, and a stairs leading up. Any windows to the outside were boarded up. Not suprising given goblins aren't known to care for sunlight.

In that case, Ham'mon will start to creep up the stairs as quietly as possible.

Stavis will follow behind Ham'mon

14,+9+2
Total:25

Perception Roll(1d20)+7:
18,+7
Total:25

[Dood if you forgot my ritual is still in effect as it lasts for 10 hours. Also a reminder it doesn't help with surprise attacks.]

Since no one seems even slightly interested in the loot,Trinal will put on the amulet and put the belt and potions in his pouch, then follow.

People who can use wands: Stavis and Jimer
People who should probably get the Amulet or belt: Gobo or Ham'mon
Healing potions: Gobo anyone else

Basically I don't want to speak for Gobo too much, but my guess is that he'd be best suited to take the belt at least if he is gonna be your tank.
