Assuming we are close enough to hear each other, "I suggest we take one of these trails and make camp for the night and prepare for the 'hunt'", Syric says with a grin as he points to one of the signs. "We should get settled in and decide who, if anyone, is going to check out the quarry tonight. I'm willing to take the first watch."

"I concur on camping here. I at least plan to get close enough to gather information and possibly act if the group going feels an opportunity presents itself. When the group gets back will help take watch throughout the night regardless of where I am scheduled and so will take any watches that no one clams."

"Tony Plush does not think that Stavis should go alone so he will accompany Stavis on this scouting trip. Considering the potential for attack Tony Plush would suggest we do keep watches, perhaps 4 two hour watches with Stavis and Tony Plush excused as we will be gone for several hours scouting and will need to rest upon our return. Also we should work out a signal for our return so we can give an all clear signal when we return to allow whoever is on watch to know that it is us approaching and not a threat"

Syric was about to point out that he had already volunteered for the first watch, but rethinks his choice after remembering that Ham had slept on the trip and sleep was sounding sweet, "I guess I'll take the last watch" then with a look to Trinal and Gobo, "you two can divvy up the middle watches."

Ham'mon looks at Syric through heavy, not quite awake eyes.

"I figured I've been sleeping while you've been driving the cart. Thought you might like the break. I'll take the watch."

Stavis after getting off Dragon though leaves his musical instruments and does a look around to ensure they are alone before joining in the conversation.

"Upon our return my exclusion will not be needed as my people do not sleep and can keep watch even while meditating though will not require I take watch if the others wish it but will not stop me from assisting. Regardless a call sign would be the easiest so "Brago Truque" would the simplest, I will leave final choice to the two of you." Looks to both Tony and Syric before heading back to Dragon to unhitch the horse and tying it off near some grass to feed.

Syric will secure his wagon and lead his horse near the other(s) before preparing camp. He will make a sweep of the perimeter and forage for food to take advantage of nature's bounty, though he laments his skills are not at the level of his elf brethren he grew up with.

So what I need to know is:

1) Is scout team consisting of Tony and Stavis only? What time of night do they intend to go scouting?

2) For the folks staying behidn we have Ham'mon and Gobo offering to keep watch (Gobo for the entire night, Ham'mon for the first 4 hours, then presumably Gobo or Trinal followed by the other, then Syric to finish the morning up)

It is 730pm Clarify who is doing what.

Trinal will take the watch after Hamm.

Gobo looks to Syric, "Good sir, I plan to stand watch beside my companions through the night. I find it best to have two persons at watch. But if you prefer I sleep then I will comply until needed."

Gobo eats a few rations and warms himself near the fire waiting to be called on to serve his watch.

Okay so it looks like at base camp Elk's Lodge we have the watch order Ham'mon, then trinal, then Gobo, then Syric.

Now when does Scout Team intend to leave?

"Mr. Plush I am capable and willing of observing for sever hours and so would be ready and willing to leave immediately. I would however be willing wait until later into the evening should you desire to rest or eat before we head off. I can preoccupy myself with collecting firewood should the group desire a fire or can even provide some simple entertainment."

"We have a long walk ahead of us so it might be best to get moving now. Tony Plush can eat on the move."

Tony will put down his pack, grab some rations out of his pack, setup his bedroll quick for when we return then turns to Stavis

"Ok, time to get down to business."

As we start the first watch, Ham'mon do you have a campfire going. If so how big?

Small one in the middle of the camp. Ham'mon stays on the perimeter of the camp, looking outward as he walks around.

As long as we have a fire, Trinal will try his hand at making something palatable for a small meal, maybe a stew. He should be able to do that before his watch starts.

I guess it's a nature check.

He'll offer to share with the rest, and if anyone has ingredients to contribute, all the better. He makes sure to keep a bowl of it warm for Hamm when he comes off watch.
