Stavis when he had gone with the driver purchased 1 small barrel, 1large barrel of ale, taps for both and enough mugs for everyone (15g) and had that all loaded on what became Dragon as he had followed the other driver back staying in the seat to indicate intention of staying with the drink. When others notice the large barrel Stavis shakes his head no "We may decide deception won't be able to work but figured better to be prepared in case. Though I did also include a small barrel to use with our meals to use first. Should it be decided to want me closer to the front will reorder when we leave or will have the supplies moved as there are some I wouldn't want having easy access on the road unsupervised."

[OOC my perception is also 6]

My manifest to date:
Centaur- Tony Plush (Gobo passenger)
Banshee-Trinal
Dragon- Stavis
Angel- Syric Driving (Ham'mon passenger)

And remember you can arrange the wagons in any order, Angel doesn't have to go first.

Edit: arranged in order that seems to be favored.

"Tony Plush proposes he drives the first wagon with Gobbo along for the ride, Syric and Ham'mon in the second, Trinal third and Stavis last. Does anyone have any objections?"

[ooc]I'll be gone for pretty much the rest of the night at dinner, then hockey and drinks with friends, so long as a reasonable reason is given for someone other than me to drive wagon one and Gobbo stays there I don't care that much about the order and I'd be content to skip ahead to our lunchtime planning session[/ooc]

Truque says "Might it be wise to have two people in the front wagon and two people in the rear wagon? Thus Centaur, Dragon, Banshee, Angel with the Dragonborn and Mr. Plush to Leade, and Mr. Syric and Mr. Aeghs in the rear?"

With a nod to his employer Sryic replies, "That's fine with me Truque, extra eyes on the front and rear make sense. Maybe with Gobo in the lead we'll scare a few off before we get there!"

Trinal hops onto Banshee, since it's the least-populated at the moment.

The wagons depart. The weather is [rolls die behind gm screen] normal. Mostly sunny a few clouds in the sky. Winds are slow, but consistent.

As you drive Syric and Tony seem to have no problem with their wagons, they drive them with ease. Trinal and Stavis however find the wagons a bit trickier. Maybe they were rusty since last they drove wagons, maybe their horses were a bit moodier than Tony and Syrics, maybe their wagons weren't kept in quite as good condition as the other two. You can't quite figure it out, but it doesn't matter as you travel down the road and stay in formation.

[rolls die behind gm screen]
The most interesting thing you see during the early morning travels is the stream of people and wagons going into town for the market days.

Drivers please do the next set of athletic checks.

As you ride along during late morning the weather stays very pleasant. The sun is shining, the breeze is pleasant. The steady stream of people heading to town starts to thin out as you get further from town. During the travel most of the drivers seem to be handling their wagons and horses well. Unfortunately most is not all. Trinal had his horse get a bit out of his control and the wagon swerved. One wheel of the wagon got stuck between two rocks that are jutting out on the edge of the path. The wagon is stuck. The horse for the wagon also seems a bit frightened at being tied to a stuck wagon.

Trinal winces and hops off the wagon, and attempts to calm the horse.

The horse calms down. But you get the sense that unhitching the horse might make it feel better. There are a few trees along the road you can tie the horse to if you want.

Tony stops his wagon and sets the break on it so the horse doesn't take off then hops down.

"Trinal, unhitch the horse and get it off the path. Everyone else, let's push the wagon back to get it unstuck and then we can steer it around the rocks."

I assume this would probably require either a strength of athletics check to accomplish...

If Str 13+2 = 15 total
If Athletics 13+7 = 20 total

Is Tony Plush going to lift the wagon by himself or is Tony Plush getting help? Because that changes the rolls needed.
