And YouTube got Copyright hit... it's still out there though.

Lucas said he will never release the original because it would cost too much to restore. What I don't get is how much money can it cost to restore a few scenes? It's not like he has to do the whole thing... but he will still add in "new" never-before-seen scenes that obviously need the full restoration done.

It's not like he couldn't get a copy of the Betamax tape and make a digital copy! (And then put it up on Hulu)
