Trustme, of Furiel wanted you dead, he won't allude to it. Hell come straight out and say 'i hope you and your family die in a fire.'

If that is all he said, that is practically flirting. If Furiel wanted you dead there would be much much more imagery invoked.

Calling me "not the typical new England homer" is a huge compliment, and I appreciate it.

And this has been really my first glimse as to who Furiel is. Sure, I knew him from his role as a Cardinal and I've spoken to him about a few guild topics, and he's always been quite formal, courteous, and honest (all things an Officer should be, imo). But this was my first sight of Furiel the man, not the position.

So as I'm reading the posts, I'm going "Dude.... WTF?" But if he's just an abrasive guy, then that's fine. I was beginning to take some of it personally, as we all saw. I know I can be pretty abrasive myself, I know my sense of humor in guild chat can rub some people the wrong way, etc. But now that I know, as I re-read the posts in the topic, I see it differently.

Anyways.... Grats again, Cuspar! lol

Durai if the Guild Leadership were a boy band (which is how all groups should be analyzed) I'd be the sensitive one, Vesp would be the trendy one, Cuspar would be the cute one, Furiel is the edgy one, Bulwark is the old one, and Arrican is the athletic one.

Notice there isn't really a talented one.

My only question is this...

There's a Bryan?

Just cuz I won Best Listener, Most Creative, Most Likely to Murder You in Your Sleep and Most Likely to Kill Your Family in Front of You While Eating Waffles all in the same election in high school doesn't make me a bad person, it just makes me...complex.

Was it because they tried giving you margarine on your waffles instead of butter?

They tried to give me that Log Cabin shit instead of real maple syrup.

DON'T fuck with my maple syrup or I will end you...

Today I learned Happy is into asphyxiation during sexytimes. Does she wrap a belt around your neck or can she reach with her arms?

*Tiptoes into the thread*

Sorry about that mess...

But very quickly, I understand, but deeply contend, the distaste for Boston fans. As fans, we want more more more. THAT is why some say it is the best place to play, though. We are passionate. We know the games we are passionate about and expect greatness. We BLEED our teams colors and when they lose, we die a little inside. Are we spoiled? You bet your ass we are, but we are unapologetic about it. We feel like our investment (emotional, time, and money...we have the highest ticket prices across the board because you can't get a ticket) makes our heartbreak reasonable. If you're not from here, you don't get it. Please don't take that as an insult. I don't get high school football in Texas. It just doesn't make sense to me, because I wasn't brought up in it. I don't look on them with resentment, for two reasons. First, there is nothing to look down on. Passion is not dirty. Second, I understand your regional traditions mold you, and it is those very traditions and culture that make this continent great. There are a couple things to remember, though.

1) We aren't all douche bags. Being fanatics (the very route for the word 'fan') doesn't mean we are ALL loud obnoxious asshats. Some of us cheer hard, celebrate quietly, and lose internally. The first thing I did after the Superbowl was text my buddy (who's a huge Giants fan) congrats and vowed my undying support for him in his argument that Eli is, indeed, elite. He mocked me and rubbed the lose in my face.... That is obnoxious, btw.
2) We hate the loud-mouths as much as you all do. They make the rest of us look bad. Real bad.

With all of that said, congrats to the Giants, go Bruins (teehee) and man I love playing SWTOR!

P.S. Vesp, I'm in RI too!

P.S.S Congrats Cusp and Furiel :rave:

Jake, whereabouts in RI?

Can we all talk about something we all have mutual disdain for? The team from Jersey B, with the bloated sac of fetus vomit head coach with a foot fetish.

Rex Ryan?

He's a tool. Used to be an entertaining tool, then he shoved a foot in his mouth (possibly literally) one too many times and now he's just a damn moron. Sanchize needs to get canned. I say they pick up Peyton if the Colts say "buh bye" and try to draft a new QB while they're at it. Maybe Barkley next year.

But but but, if they did that then they might get past being mediocre, and I don't think any of us want that. What they really need to do is make Ryan coach and GM for life, then give Sanchize a contract extension that exceeds Peyton Manning's both in length and in $$$. Then resign Santonio Holmes and go get Braylon Edwards back. Then they'll be SET!!

Born and raised in Warwick. Work in the bucket! You?

Heheheh. Yeah, Rex is a bit of a windbag, but an entertaining windbag non-the-less!
