GTF and Arion chose one ally and that got borked. Pants on head retarded.

So do we just say screw it and seek our own turf with our friends? I wonder what Bioware will do if half the pre-deployed guilds just walk away from their assigned server and start somewhere else because they got screwed on the pre-deployment.

It sucks that people didn't get placed with us, but some did. I don't think setting up shop elsewhere is the best idea. We'll facilitate a way to help our friends get going on Juyo.

Unrepentant will not be moving. There's 58 members, plus a potential 150 alts from our two PvP branches, that have to coordinate moving, and there's a sizable portion of the players that don't (or rarely) visit the forums. It's just not a logistical possibility for us, especially with Early Access starting tomorrow and no one really sure who will be in first (or what days/times since they've said the invites will be spread out over the course of the whole day).

BioWare just completely failed to do what they said they would.

Considering the amount of outreach and politicing Furiel and I are doing to try and get GTF, Arion and others here, I would rather stay put and help guilds get set up here and reap the rewards later.

As a native French Canadian, I'm curious as to why they didn't designate language-specific servers? They did the same for the old forums.

Nothing weirder than having half of General Chat being spammed with French. At least, it would be more awkward if you didn't know the language, anyway.

The Cardinals have addressed the issue.

We are going be to creating a new guild rank called refugee and we are going to be opening our doors, temporarily, to those guilds who wanted to be allied with us and we assigned elsewhere. The refugee ranks will be a temporary rank to house those guilds who choose to come to Juyo and reform here instead of on their Bioware assigned server. Once each guild has sufficient numbers to create their own guild they will do so and we will maintain all our normal relations with them then.

Additionally those guilds that do choose to come join us we are offering to pay their guild creation fee. Anyone who feels like chipping in for that it would be appreciated, otherwise the Cardinals already have plans in place to handle it.

We are in the process of reaching out to those guilds who were placed on different servers to inform them of our offer.

I propose that a willing volunteer of cardinal level or above roll a "tithing" alt-bot for the first few days of play, and we could all send our donations to that.

You have to figure there is a certain level of disconnect between members and who actually preordered/will buy the game. I mean it is probably easily 90% in a guild and will play, but there are certain to be some people who didn't like beta, but didn't guild quit and won't be playing.

True, but you also have to factor in guilds like Unrepentant that were limited by the "1 guild per account" selection process... we could be bringing up to an additional 150 players in the first week ourselves.

Definitely appreciate it. Unfortunately everyone we are targeting for this is Republic, not sure how easy to viable it will be to cross the faction divide in regards to money transfers. If we find any scylla alum who are looking to roll sith we will send them your way.

The funny thing to me at this moment is yesterday during the Nar Shaddaa Lounge production meeting I made a point to say I wanted to help, but couldn't commit because my main focus was launch this guild through launch and that was my main focus. And at the time I thought it wouldn't be that bad. Yet today it looks like I maybe helping to launch several guilds at launch.

Honestly this super sucks because we were lulled into a false sense of security by picking our allies and wandering off. If the allies system had not existed, these plans would have already been made, instead of this last-minute BS.

I think the biggest failing in the process is releasing the information the DAY before Early Access starts. They should have given at least a week notice so people could organize and not have to run around at the last minute and change things.

I do know I intend on bitching about it on the radio show tomorrow night.
