Bulwark finishes up his sandwich. He stares at the chronometer on the wall, waiting for the night to pass and the auction to begin.

"So where would you like to go on the station?"
Henri asks polishing off her dinner.
"Why don't you show me some of the spots most people don't get to see. Then maybe we can find some more private locations..."

"Oh the station is boring. I'm sure you've seen your share of mechanic labs, harvesters, relay stations. Let's get a bottle and head back to your room."
She says draping her arms around your neck.
"Well I suppose it would be un-gentlemanly of me to say no to such a kind invitation. And Tony Plush is nothing if not a gentleman. Let me hit the head and settle up with the barkeep and then we can adjourn."

I'll slip out of her grip and head to the fresher
While there I'll read Klak's message and respond

She's got stars in her eyes and stonewalls every question I ask her about the station or having her show me around. I'm going to take her to a more private setting, get her liquored up and pump her for information and hopefully something good will come up.

After doing my business I'll head back to the bar, settle up our tab, get a bottle of hard liquor and go pick up my "date".

OOC: my plan is to get her nice and drunk and what happens, happens but also through the course of the night to question her about any other VIPs she may have escorted in recently, what they look like, what ship they came in, and any info she might have on Joonhali and the auction. (this is if you don't want to play it all out, which I don't think you do)

Gather info for the night: 1d20+4: 19+4=23

You find out that the Republic ship was named the Jive Turkey which had a human and an alien (she couldn't remember what kind because she didn't escort them it was a zabrak co-worker). She just knows that there is an auction and Joonhali set up some sophisticated encryption channels for VIP use. She also passes out before you get busy.

After Bulwark finishes his sandwich, Dood heaves a long sigh.

"Well, I've got Gyl working on who or what this person was that came in here all hot and bothered. What do you think about the gentleman that bothered our bothan friend - who he obviously mistook for me? 'The auction is a trap?'"

What time is it when she passes out?
10pm or so.
Once she's out I'll text Klak

Looks like our competition is a human and some currently unknown alien. They arrived in a ship called the Jive Turkey. I'll be doing some research to see what else I can find out about them now.

Computer Use: 1d20+14: 15+14=29

Starting with the stations computers then moving out to from there to see what I can learn about the Jive Turkey, what kind of ship it is, where it is docked, who owns and operates it and what other information I can get on the owner/operators, including pictures if possible.

@Tony

The Jive turkey is registered to Sliveen Darkley of Sullust. Currently though it is operated by Boon T Supes under a freight contract. Boon has a criminal record, light stuff usually carrying contraband in restricted zones, or public intoxication in core worlds. You do find out where it is parked in the station.

Is it parked anywhere near my ship?

Not really. Single person fighter size ships are on one side of the hangar and the spots grow from there towards light medium size freighters.

"The hot and bothered lady definitely has something to do with whats going on. It's no coincidence that she arrived on the station about the same time as us. And I doubt our host would let someone have the run of his station like that unless they have a mutual interest. And, as far as I can tell, the only thing going on in this station of interest is the auction."

"As far as the gentlemen that followe you into the fresher, I try not to pay too much attention to that. I know how you like to encourage that behavior."
Bulwark grins. "I don't think he is stating anything that we don't already suspect. A republic and seperatist contingent both in an isolated station with no backup? Of course it is a trap. The General would have sent a diplomat or negotiator if they didn't suspect that. It sounds to me that your gentleman fresher friend is either trying to stir up trouble or scare us off. If he was really trying to warn us of a trap, he would have hung around and given up some details, rather than a vague reference on his way out the door.

That being said, he does have more of an interest in the auction that most of the folks on this station, and it would be worth finding out a little more about him. If you want to see if anyone on the station knows who he is, I can go out and try to pick up his trail and see where he's headed."

I think I'm getting a cramp in my legs and need to take a walk - I'm going to lockup anything valuable in my room, leave a note on the pillow saying I had to take care of some business then go for a walk down to the hangar area...

Dood considers the empty glass in front of him for a moment.

"Let's do that. See if you can track him down and figure out what he's doing. I'm wondering if he's with the opposition or if he's with that Avonna woman." Dood drums his fingers on the bar.

"In the meantime, I'm going to go check out the station some more. I'll meet you back at the rooms around 0000 local."

Dood wanders out of the cantina and heads toward the hangar where the Turkey is parked.

Klak gets the message from Tony. Responds.

Let me know when you part from your guest and I will meet you. Getting a few strange looks from folks in here, but no information from Bran our friendly bartender. I saw another cantina, maybe we need to head that way

Klak checks his credits and realizes he has already spent 100 cr on tips and drinks. he says out loud "Oh man, I need to leave before I go broke on Ale!"

Klak makes a slight wave to Bran and walks out into the open air. He slowly starts to make his way to the other Cantina (OOC: name?) hoping to hear from Tony before he gets there.

As you walk up to the Jive Turkey you get the feeling you are being watched. You look around and just see people in the jumpsuits the crew station wear.

He is sitting next to a Zabrak who seems to be settling up his tab. He is decently dressed, obviously not hurting for money by any stretch. And body language suggests he is trying not to stand out.

You make a turn from your ship and head to the office of the dockmaster.

"Can I help you?" A young human assistant asks as he punches something into a terminal.
