"Sorry about that sugar, never even occured to me your security might not classify a heavy pistol as a sidearm. In special ops team 6 it's the standard issue sidearm. Ol' Sandy's saved my life in more scrapes than I can count, but I wouldn't want to get you in trouble and I'm sure Mr. Joonhali's security will be more than sufficient to look after his guests so I can leave her here."Blackferne wrote:@Tony Plush

I'll leave my pistol in it's holster and take off my gunbelt and put it back in the cockpit with a farewell pat
"Now then, Mr. Talzut? And you still haven't answered me about that tour." Tony says with a wink
edit: btw, 2 questions, does she have the same voice as the woman who guided me in, and also is there a nametag on her uniform?

Your two questions: no and no
"Follow me Mr. Plush, after Mr. Talzut meets you we'll see about that tour." She says leading you and the protocol droid to Mr. Talzut's office.
"Hello Mr. Plush. I believe you have a code for me?"

"Well it all checks out. The droid will show you to your suite."
The girl interrupts "I..I was hoping to show him around the station."
Mr. Talzut grimmaces. "Take the droid with you." He sighs and turns to the droid "And you don't let her spend too much time on this tour, she is still on the clock."

"Talzut?" Bran chuckles "Oh he is just a hard ass. Can't blame him though. He has this daughter, probably 18 now, who works on the deck with him. So anyone who comes through he thinks is trying to bed his daughter. She is a bit of a wild one too. Last guy who got too close to her ended up with a broken arm and a few missing teeth. There is a Rodian curse that goes something to the effect 'may your life be like having an unwed daughter'. I don't know who Talzut pissed off, but he is living it."

Then once she does I'll continue "Thank you <insert name here>, but you should attend to your duties first of course and perhaps you can give me that tour once you are off duty?"Blackferne wrote:@Tony Plush

"Well I will try to stay on his good side, and as far away from his daughter as I can. I happen to like my teeth!" Klak smiles showing his pointy teeth. "Bran, dont let me take any more of your time, this has been very helpful. I will make sure my money and that of my compatriot flow to your establishment. I hope to see you around, but for now my friend should be arriving soon and I need to meet with him." Klak drops a few more credits at the bar and gives a slight nod to Bran in gratitude.

"My name is Henrietta, but most just call me Henri. I get off at 6pm." She taps something on a datacard and gives it to you. She winks and leaves the office.
Mr. Talzut gives you a long look. The droid speaks up. "Follow me sir."
The droid takes you to section two of the station and shows you a sweet. Turns out Klak's sweet is next door. The droid shows you all the facilities within the room and then leaves.
@Klak
"I'll be seeing you around for sure." Bran says nodding his head and raising his hand in a wave good bye.

Klak heads back to his room, only to see Tony Plush arriving with a droid in tow.
"Hello there Tony, I was going to Comm you but I see you have arrived. Guess we have adjoining rooms, get your things settled, I will open my side just let me know when you are ready to talk. I have a bit of information to share."
Klak heads into his room and opens the adjoining door for Tony.

Tony heads into his room, waits a moment to ensure that the droid has left the hallway area, then opens the door adjoining his and Klak's room and strolls in.
"Hey Horney, glad you got some stuff on your recon efforts. My stop didn't prove to be as useful as I had hoped, but I think I'll be able to get alot more information a little later tonight.
What I did find out essentially is that our host is something of a treasure hunter, and not the most reputable kind. Not that I think you could be when you spend you time hopping the galaxy looking for rare, unique items to acquire and sell. Whatever he found, noone knows where he found it as supposedly he was in deep space for several weeks, and once he came back he was all excited about this big score he found he's planning to retire on.
So that's what I know right now, what have you got?"

"Mr. Pehri is concerned about this auction and wanted to know if you have any idea what would happen if this item were to end the war as it's rumored. Now I know they say a flit in the hand is worth two in the bush, but that's for people who play it safe, not people like us." he ends with a nod.
Joonhali gently swirls his brandy in a lazy hand motion while looking at you with a big smile. "Mr. Pehri is free to bid if he likes. What I have, and what I'm selling may end the war or it may prolong it. What most rumor mongers and haulers fail to get is that wars can and do flip on a whim. A system here, and battle there. A shipment of titanium that arrives a day early gets blown up on a supply raid. A shipment that arrives late finds itself without a spaceport to drop off at. Those small nunas peddling gossip like old house wives, they don't see history the way giants do. I understand, and trust me I don't mean disrespect when I say this, but I understand the appeal of clinging to simple ideas to make sense of complex times like a child clings to a nursery tale. I'd like you to assure Mr. Pehri that he shouldn't worry about his profits."

Come now Mr. Joonhali, we both know where Pehri's information comes from and often where there's smoke there's fire. His information has been accurate so far, eh? And if this was truly something that would prolong the war, you know our organization would be willing to..assist..you with this auction. You should ask yourself if inviting the republic and the confederacy to your private station was truly the wisest choice. "You know me too well Horney. Although you know you should always be watching your own back, as well as we should be watching each others. Ok, well this little bit of info just makes tonight a bit more interesting. As you suspect I appear to have a date with the lady this evening. However I think we can turn this to our advantage as well. We don't know what he's showing, but she might. And even if she doesn't, there's a good chance that she was the person who greated our competition as well. So with some careful questioning I should be able to get some intel on them. Additionally since she's been around the station for awhile as well I can hopefully get some additional insight into our host. Things your bartender friend doesn't know, but Talzut might have mentioned around his daughter. So I think for now we might want to make sure we have things safe and secured here, then get some rest, you never know what tonight might bring."

Re: Game: An Unpaid Debt
If anything I've said scares you, then maybe my point is getting across. If your'e wanted dead for what you have in your vault, then you've invited your murderers here when you invited the republic and the Sepis. Once they know what you have, at least from how you talk about it, they will likely destroy your item, your spacesation and yourself just to keep the other side from getting it. Now if you had let us arrange the auction, we could have assured your safety, as it is now....well, I'm not just here to watch Mr. Pehri's profits, but to help you should you need it. I have a ship that can get you out of here safely should you fully realize the danger you've placed yourself in. And while I would like to continue our discussion and reiterate that I'm here as a fellow business man to show you that you've overestimated yourself and not here to threaten you, I do understand when I've been dismissed. Please call for me should you like to better understand these dangers you are seeming to ignore.Blackferne wrote:
