ooc: assuming our datacard also said to contact chief spaceport officer Talzut

"Yes, I believe there is. Can you let chief spaceport officer Talzut know that Mr. Joonhali's guests have arrived?"

@Jive Turkey group

"But of course. Can you follow me?" The zabrak leads you two through the spaceport to Mr. Talzut's office.

"Welcome. Let me take a look at that code." Mr Talzut says taking teh datacard and popping it in. "Looks like it verifies. If you will follow this droid to your suite, we can get you situated."

Bulwark follows the droid towards the lift. "These suites, are they nice? Do they have a good fresher in them?"

"All right Egdir, let's get a bite to eat." Jokull is armed with his blastech DH-23 on his hip and a czerka adjudicator strapped to his ankle, Egdir is armed with his ion pistol.

They head to a nearby cantina and purchase a modest meal and listen for any other talk regarding the auction, Poonhali or anything to do with republic or separatist agents here.

Gather information: Roll(1d20)+11: 17,+11 Total:28

If nothing interesting is learned I will escort Egdir back to the ship before heading back to my hotel.

"But of course. We maintain high quality suites for all of Mr. Joonhali's invited guests." The Droid replies in a slight prissy tone.

He leads you to your suite which has two bedrooms, very nice fresher and a view of the gas giant out the window.

As you walk to the cantina your commlink beeps.

"Mr. Frostasson, please come to Section 3 alone immediately. And be prepared for a security search when you arrive." A slightly posh accent says in an annoyed tone.

Time probably about 2pm. Furiel should arrive in a few hours.

After sitting in the corner for an hour Klak gets up, leaves a 40%credit tip for the waitress and heads to the bar. He takes a seat and orders a locally brewed ale. For this he also leaves a 40% tip hoping to get the attention of the bartender.

The bartender plops down two drinks in front of you. "You look like a thirsty guy. Name is Bran. Let me know if you need anything."

Jokull finds a quiet spot to bend down and take off his ankle holster and stuff it under Egdir's shirt.

Once in their suite(s), Dood pulls out his commlink and calls Gyl.

"Gyl, once you and Toowie have the ship locked down, get the Turkey fueled and restock whatever we're low on. Once you've handled that, I need you to execute protocol two and get back to me. Have Toowie keep the ship locked down until your return."

@Jokull

You make your way to section 3 which has a long windowed tunnel connecting it to section 2. As you make your way down the tunnel you get intercepted by two droids and an Aqualish who give you a scan to make sure you are not carrying unauthorized weapons. after the security check they lead you through two heavy reinforced doors which obviously used to be an airlock to a solitary space station which looks like it was reinforced onto section 2 of the main station. Inside the droids and aqualish lead you into a lounge like area with many large comfortable chairs. A man is tending his bar pouring a brown liquid into two short glasses. Around the room you see plenty of works of art, none that you recognize by name, but the styles seem familiar.

"Have a seat Mr. Frostasson."
the man says as he turns around and walks towards you. He is a middle aged man in a smart 'leisure' suit. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Pala Joonhali." He hands a glass to you and sips from the other. The aroma is that of a fine Corellian brandy. "And you appear to be trying to crash a party you weren't invited to."

@Tony Plush

You drop out of hyperspace and have the mottled tunnel turn to streaks of stars before a giant gas planet and a small four section space station enters your view.

"Unidentified ship. Please identify yourself and await landing instructions."
An accented female voice says over the comms. Two Sorosub patrol ships are coming towards you in an intercept and escort vector.

Well now that's not quite true. As I told Ms. Dassel, you have another interested bidder for your auction. I was hoping that wouldn't be a problem, if the item is worth it your likely to get a higher price with more bidders.

"Well if my intel on you is correct, I can guess who the interested bidder is. If that is correct, I doubt he has the opening bid, but I don't want to insult Dal Pehri so consider yourself as having a seat at the table. Perhaps he will surprise me. Tomorrow I'll be assembling the bidders to unveil the item for auction and set ground rules for bidding. I'll have Ms. Dassel make sure your room has an encrypted port for commlink transmissions." He sips his brandy and then gives you a wry smile.

"Heh, it's always easier working with a professional, said with another sip of brandy. "Mr. Pehri is concerned about this auction and wanted to know if you have any idea what would happen if this item were to end the war as it's rumored. I understand you're expecting a big payoff, but you should understand that it will be at the expense of future revenue streams. Now I know they say a flit in the hand is worth two in the bush, but that's for people who play it safe, not people like us." he ends with a nod.

As you land there is a petite woman with brown hair in a tan flight deck suite waiting for you with a datapad and a prtotocol droid.

"Welcome to Bootali Station. I'd like to go over some ground rules before I get you to see Mr. Talzut. First you have free access to section one and two of the station. Sections three and four are by invitation only. In section one you will find the landing decks, two cantinas, a tapcafe, and a provisions depot for refueling and supplies. In section two there is lodging for our guests. Mr. Talzut will assign you a room. We prohibit the carrying of any weapons larger than a side arm (ooc: anything that does more than 3d6 as listed in the rulebook) so any carbines, rifles, or explosives should be left on your ship. Now unless you have any questions, follow me."

After a draining most of the ale Klak signals Bran back over and puts a few more credits on the bar.

"Bran, you seem like a fellow who knows a bit about this port. I am here on behalf of my employer for a special event by a dealer Pala Joonhali. Just curious if you know the man, or have any insight a trader from out of town should know?"

Klak continues sipping the rest of his ale. He wasn't going to push with this bartender, just hoping the extra credits were enough to get him some background information.

"Mr. Joonhali? Oh he is a good guy. Very classy. I'd say the thing that he likes best is to be respected as a class act. He is an adventuring sort. Comes in here after a long trek across the galaxy and tells great stories. His motto seems to be good drink, good conversation, good times. That help at all?" Bran says clearing the empty ales and pouring another for you.
