So I read Pat's blog post about loot drops and containers and operational flashpoint mob spawning commander raidilators and realized I don't think I even understand how to play an MMO anymore.

Just to set expectations:

1. Dood will not participate in raids on a regular basis
2. Dood will be played at a rate of MAYBE 4 hours per week

Please plan accordingly.

If you have mostly or only played SWG Pre-CU, your expectations of how an MMO works will be different than people who played EQ,WOW, CoH etc.

It is okay though because there are plenty of us who can talk you through it.

I played WOW for a week and didn't care for it.

Same for Conan.
Same for that pirate game.

I think I played Eve for like 2 or 3 weeks...so that's something I think, maybe.

I believe that Emergency Rectal Penetration would probably get you the most chicks.

On topic though, this game seems like it will be fairly unique. I've played most of the MMO's in the last decade (Rift and Aion being my last two) and this seems to bend some of the normal rules of making an MMO, in a good way.
