"I like 'Mystery Men', although we're not technically all men" Trinal says, with a bow of his head to Victae. "Perhaps something more traditional sounding, to place us in the realm of highly specialized mercenaries? "

"The Phoenix Watch, perhaps."

"In any case I will abstain from visiting the Duke as I doubt he would be very hospitable if I was unwilling to take off my jesters mask, especially when he sees that I am a drow as my kind in such attire tends to be assassins. When the group goes I will hit the streets for any information for these raiders or anything else that could be helpful."

"Tony Plush and the Plushdamentals is probably out isn't it?

Although Tony Plush must say that The Phoenix Watch does have a certain ring to it."

It's the one that rises from the ashes after it's death and returns to life. That's what I like about it as well.

We could also be The Phoenix Guard. (ooc- I love that book, so I have a soft spot for it.)

[ooc- this tickles me for a very geeky reason. Steven Brust has a series of novels called The Khaavren Romances, the first of which is called The Phoenix Guards. It's a retelling of The Four Musketeers in a fantasy setting, and done in a direct homage to Dumas' style. We all have to get gold cloaks now. ;) ]

"I suggest we make our way to the Duke's residence to speak with him about the current troubles. It'd be a good opportunity to learn how or if the local problems intersect with our ongoing quest."

Stavis assuming the group is about to go visit the Duke will give Victae a gold coin to pay for his meal and will head out after use the supplies give and putting on both the mask and gloves. "As I assume you all or some will be heading to the Duke now how about he meet back here." Stavis will wait long enough to ensure that is the case before heading out.

First he will head to to the shops.

You could find a tailor who could make/alter jester clothes to go over your leather armor. 10gp for the fabric and work. Double if you want it tomorrow instead of in a few days.
