Trinal looks at the Professor and Victae. "Why not ride instead of walk? I can drive one of the wagons back to town and we can all rest our sore feet." Looking at Ham, Gobo and Stavis he says "Assuming that's all right with you gents?"

Victae offers "I used to drive wagons of supplies back at the citadel. It was part of basic training. I'd be more than happy to offer my skills."

Bambi (Bran's wife) brings out porridge with raisins and the water. "Eat up dear, we're all excited to hear how the Baron rules on the scary woman mugger." She says with a little laugh as she is walking back to the kitchen.
The man in the floppy, wide brimmed hat walks in looking exhausted. He sees you and says outloud, "That's today?" He sighs heavily. "Bran give me some of that tea you got. I need to stay up a few extra hours it seems." He plops onto the bench across from you and gives you a serious look over. His face is worn with age, he is grizzled for sure, he is sizing you up.

"I have no problem was the group riding back with us, only sensible to offer as much with them heading the same way. I am thankful for the offer to assist and am willing to give up my drivers seat as I was responsible for the delay."
Stavis will then get in back of Centaur.

Drivers: Victae, Gobo
Passengers: Hammon, Trinal, Stavis, Professor, Wyatt the carpenter
I guess that means Syric is the other driver?

After explaining to Victae kindly that it is clan tradition not to unsheath a blade unless bloodshed is imminent, even for a maiden of her beauty to see how powerful the blade is, Gobo will offer up his skills to drive, as he has yet to do so.
Gobo gets on the same wagon as Ham and nods agreeing with Trinal "Good sir Trinal, why not take as many of your crew on that wagon, perhaps after we unload you can inquire about keeping it for your team."

"Well Drayson, Tony Plush still appreciates your honesty in coming forward as you did, even if your judge of character may be a little off. Tony Plush is many things, but a criminal he is not. Since you are so well acquianted with the area perhaps you can tell Tony Plush when he would be expected to testify? There are some other matters in town he would like to get taken care of yet today as well but would not want to be late for something this important."

Drayson doesn't even flinch or seem taken aback when you question his judge of character. "I figure that the Baron will take cases probably starting around 9am. Word to the wise though, he doesn't take kindly to egos bigger than his own, and won't hesitate to punish people on account of poor manners. So Tony Plush might want to tone down Tony Plush's personality a bit." He spits on the floor after clearing his throat. "See you soon." He gets up and walks out the front door.

@ Tony
After you finish eating and prepping for your court date, you head over to the Sheriff who will escort you to the Baron's estate.
As you walk into the sheriff's station you see a man in stocks covered in rotten food and an old lady leaving him.
You walk into the station.
"Morning Mr. Plush." He greets you in a rather dry tone. "The procedure for this sort of thing is on the steps of the Baron's manor he will have a call for justice. I will present the case. He will direct you to give testimony, she'll have a chance to refute what you say, there will be a call for additional witnesses at which point Mr. Drayson will speak. During the statements the Baron can interrupt and ask questions as he sees fit, or cut you off as he sees fit in his wisdom. The Baron will give judgement after all parties have spoken. Of particular note. The Baron is keen on manners and should addressed as Lord. Also he is rather impatient so short statements are generally better. He is not one for fanciful storytelling, he values his time far greater than your stories. Finally as the victim it is customary for you to ask for a punishment that you think suits the crime for his lordship to consider. He may take it under advisement, or may go a different path. Either way it is expected of you. Do you have any questions?"

"Attempted robbery, with no prior problems....usually a few days in the stocks. Maybe a formal apology in the chapel before the gods to the victim. Actual robbery would depend on what was stolen. If it was too much we'd send them off to the Earl's prison."

The Sheriff leads you to the steps of the Baron's manor which has a nice large chair at the top of the steps. There is a clerk liek fellow sitting in a small desk with parchment and quill handy. There is a crowd assembled at the bottom of the steps. Some are talking about begging for aid, other wish to present petitions etc etc. After a bit the clerk at the desk stands and shouts:
"All rise for Baron Thurston Howell first of his name, who administers in his wisdom the King's Justice as entrusted by the Duke Rausten's liege Earl Karlkyns. May the gods grant Lord Baron Thurston Howell the wisdom of the ages."
Out of the front door a middle aged man with black curly hair, a point goatee and a slight underbite walk forth in apparent annoyance at the task of running the community.
"Very well, let's get on with this. Rodrick, what's on the agenda?"
"My lord, we have a call for justice, several petitions for aid, some exciting news regarding land gran..."
"Shut up. Let's get going. It looks like we may have a warm day and I'd rather not be baking out here. Who calls for the King's justice?" He asks as he sits in his chair slightly slumped.
Sheriff Fastter steps to the first step.
"My lord, last thursday night we have a Mr Tony Plush, a traveler here on his own business, who was victim of an attempted robbery by a Miss Rieunna. She is niece to Aoni, travelling on her own to visit family. No robbery occurred, and there is witness to the events in question."
The sheriff steps back into the crowd.
The Baron speaks up.
"Tony Plush. Come make your case." he says in a somewhat bored tone.

Tony will do his best to keep a neutral, matter of fact tone (channel his inner Steven Wright) and not partake in his flair for storytelling as best as he can
"Thank you your lordship. On the night in question Tony Plush was entertaining Rieunna and her cousins Aerda and Wytierne at the Might Elk. Later in the evening the lady Aerda invited Tony Plush to accompany her and her cousins back to their lodgings for the evening. Before leaving the Mighty Elk Tony Plush had the foresight to leave his purse behind in his room and left with the ladies. While walking arm in arm with the ladies Aerda and Wyteirne on our way to our destination Rieunna took the dagger from Tony Plush’s belt then attempted to use it to rob him. Tony Plush refused, telling Rieunna that he had left all of his coin safely behind and offered her the opportunity to walk away with no harm done if she would return his dagger and apologize for her behavior to her cousins, who were clearly frightened out of their minds. When she refused Tony Plush offered a second time to allow her to walk away and if she did not then he would have been forced to take her into custody himself and turn her over to the authorities. Rieunna then considered for a moment then threw the dagger at Tony Plush’s feet just as the good sheriff Fastter arrived. He took us into custody, took our statements and as Tony Plush’s accounting of the tale was supported by the testimony of Mr. Drayson Tony Plush was released and stands here today to give this testimony."
