I will, with a description of how damaged they are.Bulwark wrote:At the end of the round, can you give us an idea of where everyone is?

That's absolutely fucking brutal. It's definately a koayashi maru scenario cuz the boss has more hps than 3 of us combined we're outnumbered and each hit will put us on the condition track. This has TPK written all over it.Blackferne wrote:Precise shot.Furiel wrote:So on the asswhipping wailer just received...all those shots were shooting into melee...so apparently the drouds have precise shot, you forgot to apply the shooting into melee penalty or none of those hits hit the droid instead. Oh, I can probably take a few of them out... I'm just gonna have to kill furiel and gando to do it.

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2 OOC Thread
Well I will admit I misjudged a few things in designing this fight. That is in part because every time I've tried to initiate combat before you guys either do something to talk your way out of it or in the case of the first fight it was getting to be really cumbersome. This has left me with a few problems in judging if something is a fair fight or not.Furiel wrote:That's absolutely fucking brutal. This was intended to be a difficult fight, and the boss was intended to be a really tough challenge so I'm not as worried about that. But I apparently made the foot soldiers too strong (well they are probably fine, but I made too many), which btw there is a story justification for them being strong too.
However there is a favorable surprise coming at the end of the next round that was planned all along. (this isn't a GM lifeline I seriously did plan the surprise)

Go ahead. If droids we are facing at level 2 have precise shot already we'll never face an opponent that doesn't so my character is completely gimped.Arrican wrote:Oh, I can probably take a few of them out... I'm just gonna have to kill furiel and gando to do it.

This fight has taught me a lot. I need to rethink how I was designing the enemies. I wouldn't say your character is gimped from this point forward.Furiel wrote:Go ahead. So I was going to just ask to verify that I was in a good position for snipe attacks and not actually just hiding as the other thread made it sound, but then again I was also under the impression that the quip that I was likely to be the only person to survive the encounter was a joke - not a prophecy.

In order to snipe you need to be hidden. You are now hidden and you can snipe from there.Dood wrote:So I was going to just ask to verify that I was in a good position for snipe attacks and not actually just hiding as the other thread made it sound, but then again I was also under the impression that the quip that I was likely to be the only person to survive the encounter was a joke - not a prophecy.
And you won't be the only one to survive. The droids were told to bring back Ro'Talth alive.

That's what I figured. I just wanted to be clear that Dood isn't just cowering in a pool of his own urine, behind the couch. He's doing that AND getting ready to shoot things.Blackferne wrote:In order to snipe you need to be hidden. Don't worry, I fully expect to be joining you in the "Sir no longer appearing in this campaign" isle by the end of this round.
I just have to decide, do I use my force point on my attack roll or my damage roll...

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2 OOC Thread
I didn't think we could use more than one force point in a round or use one for damage.

Re: The Taris Event Chapter 2 OOC Thread
You can use them for damage I thought I read, and I cleared using multiple with Joun first.
You can also argue that since my weapons are force imbued that their additional attunement to me and the force would allow me to do that.

House rule: In any combat where a party member dies you get to use 2 force points (one for hit and one for damage) once during the encounter. It is the power of grief AKA The Wailer Memorial House Rule.Whiteness wrote:I didn't think we could use more than one force point in a round or use one for damage.

The Spirit of Wailer imbued my weapons with extra accuracy and damage, what can I say.Blackferne wrote:House rule: In any combat where a party member dies you get to use 2 force points (one for hit and one for damage) once during the encounter. I think any time you are invoking that rule you should be required to say at the start of your action:
"Meesa going to kick you ass now!"
