To beat Furiel to the punch....
Gobo's up means:
1. He is awake?
2. He is next?
3. He is very happy to see us?
4. All of the above.

:rave:
Close...is that a greatsword in his pocket or is he just happy to see us?

Team goblin/zombie

R shifts back from Gobo and cast a hex onto Ham'mon
attk vs will
[dice]0[/dice]
effect: target takes 3d6+1 if they move (save ends)

Zombie Z walks to Trinal and attacks
attck vs AC
[dice]1[/dice]
On hit 5 dmg

Zombie V walks to Gobo and attacks
attck vs AC
[dice]2[/dice]
On hit 5 dmg

All other zombies double move to get where they are. They also groan. You can't tell if they are asking for braaains or graaains.

Trinal and Gobo take 5 dmg if I did the math right.

No hex on Hammon.

Team "I'm still alive" is up.

Joun, I need a ruling on how the +1 size affects a close blast 3. Is it increased to a 4x4 square, and if so, how does that work if I'm doing it to one side?

Trinal uses Tempest Breath (Close Blast 3) on the corpses.

Targeting W, Y and Z:

Attack: d20+8 vs Reflex

W: 19+7=26
Y: 3+7=10
Z: 18+7=25

Damage: 2d6+8=7+7=14

If hit they cannot gain CA.

I gain concealment until the end of my next turn.

Edit: I was erroneously using the +1 from the staff on spell attacks. It only applies to attacks using it as a weapon.

W, Y, and Z are gone.

And no the +1 is to your spell attacks. Example: Magic wand's texts (+1 to attacks and damage rolls) is identical to the war mage in the book. And no one would expect you to jack someone with a wand.

OK. I'm still wondering about how to work out a blast 4, though- if I used it to increase one of my blast powers, it'd either be lopsided or I'd have to choose the point of origin as being between squares.

Ham'mon sees the reanimated dead and his eyes widen.

Pointing his flaming sword at the nearest corpse, he shouts, "SIA OMINAK UI HAM'MON AEGHS - CHA'SID DI PELOR VUR JACIDA RADIANT MITNE DI FILKIATI. DOUT WHEDABRA UI SVA VIN SULTA SJEK WUX TIR TI TEPOHA AESH!" as he charges at it, bringing his sword down on its head.

If my target is dead, I will shift around to behind R such that were Gobo to shift one square to the east, R would be flanked - since I still have a move or an additional minor left to use and shifting is a minor action IIRC. IIRIc, then never mind.

Close blast 4x4 allows you to place a 4x4 square. The only constraint is that you have to be adjacent to the area being affected. You can be at a corner or a side, though the sides would be obviously lopsided given the 4 side length. However you could to the same thing with a 3x3 square Let me hot link some images.

My sincere apologies. You should be able to press CTRL-Z to get them back. I misread the thread and thought the bad guys had gone.

I have to say you guys are going through these fights much faster than I expected. Next time I'm gonna need to amp it up some.

But Stavis, Gobo, and Ham'mon cleared out zombies. Was hit by Spintik and Gobo. R is bloodied.

T was just north of U. I definitely didn't kill him because I didn't move.

Edit: Bloody hell, I need to just shut the hell up. I see that he took a shuriken.

He shifts 1 to get out of flank.
Spends action point and uses second wind to heal. He is still bloodied.

U attacks Spintik
attk vs AC
[dice]0[/dice]
Dmg 5 if hit

X attacks Trinal
attk vs AC
[dice]1[/dice]
Dmg 5 if hit
