Gobo opens his eyes and stares intimidating at Syric.

(Ooc Pat please roll intimidate for me)

"Back off I'm working here. A soldier can guard with perception alone"

Gobo a little rattled by not being awake perks up and looks his part as guard a bit unsure why everyone is tripping over themselves and awake at this hour.

Blackferne, is the screaming and noise ongoing or was it just momentary?

Gobo calms and looks to Syric

" Syric, I am sorry my friend. I was deep in a perceptive trance. It seems something has startled you all. I am not sure why I did not notice it as I was focused. Perhaps it is best we gather around the fire and allow our colleagues to calm down and settle. Looking around us I see nothing of significance happening"

Gobo gestures for Syric and everyone to move towards the fire and resumes his guard stance.

I assume if people go back to sleep it will be under the wagons and not by the fire given the rain.

Since the fire is likely making it impossible to see beyond the camp, Trinal will carefully circle the camp at the edge of the light radius, avoiding Hamm if possible, and listening/watching carefully for any movement, voices or other noises.

Not sure how long that will take. How many perception checks should I make?

Syric, being focused on his surroundings, didn't get a chance to step back from the imposing dragonborn before Gobo made his apologies. He is definitely glad to have the inimidating creature as an ally.

As he sees Trinal start to make rounds he gets up to follow saying to Gobo, "I'm going to add another set of eyes to our surroundings, somone was screaming out there".

He makes his own inspection behind Trinal back a ways from him but close enough to assist if something happened.

Having seen nothing out of the ordinary so far, Syric will return to Gobo and the fire when done with his circuit.

If anyone is talking or gathering there he will stay by the fire, otherwise he will return to his wagon to guard it (assuming the wagons are relatively close to the fire).

When Stavis and Tony get within ear shot of the camp, Stavis notices that the from the sound of it the camp is much more active then he would expect for this time and the light rain saying loudly enough that the camp hears "Two travels bringing the well wishes of Brago Truque." As they approach is quickly able to verify that the group is very much agitated and asks the closest companion when close enough "Is something the matter?"

Trinal returns to the firelight, and says I was asleep after my watch and under a wagon to avoid the rain when we were awakened by what sounded like screams. We haven't seen anything since.

In response to Stavis' question, Trinal says He took to a concealed location while we were trying to figure out what was going on, he's here.

"So there was a scream and everyone was fine, no one saw anything, including the person on watch and there has been no follow up investigation. That's just fantastic. Tony Plush would also like to commend you all for not moving his bedroll out of the rain so he has nowhere dry to sleep. You've all done a great job tonight, you should be proud."

The last is delivered in sneering derision and Tony will head over to an unoccupied wagon, shake his cloak out then crawl underneath and try to get some rest before dawn
