Also if you applied a buff or had some incidental protection on others who were flagged you could also be flagged. I had guard on Marrkin at one point who was not flagged and he healed Darrec who was flagged. This made both Marrkin and myself flagged immediately after the heal.

remeber when we were waiting for the trapjam and that sith keep reviving right next to us and i used my fly by and he got flaged to us if you use a damage dealing avility that doesn't need a target and you hit the companion it will flag the player has the companion will auto-atack
