SWTOR perperihals

Post by Ereesa » Sun Dec 25, 2011 5:56 pm

Hey check this out. Its a little pricey but has a definate cool factor. I doubt I will be picking one of these up. IDK if a super price drop happens I would consider it but as it stands probably not. I can't remember where I seen it but I think maybe gamestop has the keyboard for 250? amazon probably alot cheaper but I would be in more around the 70 dollar range I think. Its still just a darn keyboard. I don't know about the mouse or mouse pad. Still. Like a package deal for all 3 I would be in around 150, 175 tops. I know what gaming mice cost. but I got my logitech G9 on sale with rebate for 35 dollars 2 years ago.
oh yeah here is the link I almost forgot.

Fyi the naga is the same 12 key mouse as the swtor mouse and is cheaper. I am currently using it and it works in game just fine.

The keyboard looks super cool with the changeable LCD keys. I just wish they were on the left side of the keyboard instead of the right. I decided not to get the SWTOR branded Razer Mouse mainly because of the odd shape. I purchased the Razer Naga Epic which is most closely related to the SWTOR mouse as it is wireless.

You can save yourself ~$50 if you go with the wired Razer naga instead of the Wireless Naga Epic or SWTOR mouse. If your going to purchase the wireless swtor mouse or the naga epic I would suggest finding a store with a good return policy or replacement plan. The wireless mice are known to just "up and quit", and from what I can tell Razers return policy involves you being mouseless for 2 weeks as they replace things. The wired mouse works just fine though, and I haven't had any problems with my wireless version.

Another thing you might want to consider if your serious about PvE or PvP is the Razer Nostromo. It's a small little USB key pad you plug in along side your main keyboard, when combined with the Naga or swtor mouse it gives you a crazy number of customizeable keys.

Just order a Naga myself. I received an Amazon g/c for Xmas and it was burning a hole in my pocket. My brother has a Naga and loves it, so I figured it was the perfect way to spend the card. I would NEVER spend that much on a mouse under normal circumstances, but wanted one! And who said G/C's weren't thoughtful gifts?
