"Fine. I was just trying to facilitate a speedier method of recuperation from your taxing labor for the past few days. I figured Te'l of all people would appreciate. Though it should be noted there are many cantinas which don't even allow droids in the front door, so if I am to stay with you take that into consideration." M3PO says a bit annoyed.

Dood looks wearily from the droid to the Duros. His entire body aches and there's a growing dullness behind his forehead that's threatening to expand and force his eyes closed.

"Hold on a second there, Rexadoodle. I like a frosty beverage as much as or more than the next guy, but I don't think that's what we really need right now. Look, we're all tired and when you're tired you can't think goodish. I mean, sure, I only need about 30 minutes of sleep every 2 or 3 days as a result of my specialized training, but still. If we had Common Sense here, I'm sure it would be telling us that it would be best for us to get some shut-eye before trying to run our brains and come up with plans. Let's just grab some chow at a place near a motel or whatever, and get some sleep. We can plan over breakfast."

"So Mr. Amm'nel, which should take priority? Lodging or food? Or perhaps Get lodging with a kitchenette and I can go get food staples by which Mr. Warc can cook you guys some food?" M3PO asks.

Perception check for anyone taking an interest in our group at the space port.

Head to a public information kiosk.

First check the space email thing I did at the last spaceport to see if I got any word back.

Second look for the La Quinta/Denny's motel/diner combo equivalent in the Star Wars universe.

While M3 and Dood are searching Star-gle, Rek asks a couple passerbys and a few dock workers for food suggestions...

Rek comes back with a couple suggestions for food/drinks, apparently the Rusty Hydrospanner is a good diner, inspite of it's name, and is only a few blocks away, Marla's which is attached to the Stardust Lodge serves decent drinks, but the food apparently tastes like flash-frozen bantha droppings, and the Nerf Lounge has the best food in town and the bar selection is pretty good as well, but is on the other side of town.

M3 was able to locate a couple different lodging options, only 1 with an attached diner. The Stardust Lodge is nearby and has a diner called Marla's inside. There is also a Red Rock Inn a half dozen blocks away and finally a place called King's Inn, which has rates for both hourly and daily stays listed, however you have to give a special pwd to get the hourly rates.

Dood gets the same results as M3, except he only finds the daily rates at the King's Inn.

Yes. I suppose you would like to know them as well.

Nothing overly special. Castell is heavily urbanized and industrialized. Castell is what you would call a production planet. Raw materials and also pre-made parts come into Castell, and finished products come out. As such it's planetary laws and social structure are designed to keep the workers happy and healthy. Think of Castell as being alot like Pittsburgh, only with less crime because they devote more money to social projects, worker happiness and there are very few lower class/poverty stricken people because work is so readily available.

"Whatever you say commander..." not remembering my name isn't very commanderish... Rek follows Dood and tries to remember all the information on Castell that he had come across in his travels.

See above, plus also they are often wary of offworlders at first. Most travelers stick to the spaceport area because there are no real good reasons to visit Castell unless you are visiting family. There aren't any real tourist attractions or anything of that nature because that's land that could be used to build a textile factory for example. They aren't unfriendly per-say, like they aren't going to cross the street because they see someone they don't know, but alot of the families on Castell have lived there for generations because my great great great great great great great grandad moved here to work in Sooro-Sub repulsorlift factory so that's where I work now too, because that's what we do in my family.

Assuming no one responded via space-email

When the group rehuddles.

"Okay I have a few lodging and dining options nearby. Stardust lodge has a diner in it. A Place called Red Rock Inn, and Kings Inn which has daily and hourly rates. That last one has me concerned since any place with hourly rates is probably under a closer eye of local law enforcement. Something else I think we should have figured out now is what we tell people if they ask why we are here. I suggest we continue the looking for work story. Factory jobs etc. Don't volunteer unless asked, but that should be what you respond."
M3PO says looking through his bag for the datapad. "Huh...anyone know where my mesh tape went?"

Dood ignores the droid's last question.

"Emmy's right. Don't volunteer any information to anyone. If you're asked what brings you here, you're hear to get work. For tonight, no one should be splitting off on their own, so if cornered, you should be near T'el or myself and we should be able to step in and clear things up."

Dood looks from face to face to ensure understanding. When his eyes meet Bronto he pauses for a second and decides that his ability to assess the Aqualish's comprehension is probably equal to the aqualish's ability to comprehend the current plan.

"As far as lodging, the Stardust is probably best. Food and beds in proximity sounds like a winning combination to me."

"Emmy? My name is M3PO or M3 for short." M3PO is clearly annoyed with Dood. "And excuse me Mr. Amm'nel, while I agree that we should stay in pairs at the minimum, I don't know why you think you and Te'l are the only ones capable of getting us out of a 'corner'. We are a team, there are plenty of viable solutions to the problems we encounter, but I don't know that you have proven to be the linchpin of our group you are propping yourself up to be."

M3PO starts heading towards the Stardust.

No, the only messages in your RAOL account inbox were for making your "actuator" bigger and a coupon to oil baths and beyond, which unfortunately does not have any franchises on this planet.

Te'l gets a long smile.

" You know M3eper, with your thinking there was mesh tape and lots more money than you had in your satchel, maybe they did more than wipe a few memory banks when you were under?"

Te'l turns to Dood and then the group

"Just to reiterate, you do nothing alone, and you speak to no one without myself or Dood present. We are highly trained operatives and have a long history of convincing every level of official that we are on the up and up."

With a quick thought he continues, "We are also highly skilled mechanics and pilots. I would expect we should find a way to get a ship to fly our cargo off world when need be. But that is for another time. I say we get some food and rest. Tomorrow we will split up and gather intel on our cargo and how to move it."

Turning to Te'l as we walk.

"Mr. Marin, The bag was in my possession, then Mr. Amm'nel's and then Bronto's. I have this from several sources. I also know what was in the bag the moment I handed the bag off. I also know how much of my memory was erased and the data before that is uncorrupted. I wouldn't expect an organic to understand what a memory wipe feels like." He keeps walking with the group. "Also considering your trained professional attitude I'm really surprised you allowed me to be picked up in the first place. The only reason you aren't dead right now is my sacrificing myself for the greater good. A little gratitude and less attitude would be appreciated."
