It's back up but I want to ask the people who were on when it happened what they were doing right as the server stopped working. That's Maizan, Staris, me and RTech.

I was digging in the mines.

The server log showed a sudden lag spike, no increase in memory usage and then it just hung- the watchdog process killed it when a single tick took over 100 seconds. So *something* caused it to have a massive lag spike, but I'm at a loss as to what.

I just opened my portal to see that it was an already active gate so when I went through a second time ended up in a stronghold with signs an explosion having happened nearby with experience orbs on the ground.

I had mentioned to you in game. I was doing normal minecraft stuff. No portal activity. I did however at the time of crash have an ISP spike at my end and had to reboot to computer to get web browser working correctly and with speed.
