The most recent episode with viper laid the groundwork for venom down the road. Nicely done. And while I've always advocated that Bruce Wayne should be used sparingly, I think the 'get my own house in order at wayne enterprises' actually could be a nice role for him. I'm still he needs to be a minor character, but that role I'm curious to see where it goes.

Penguin though...once again freaking awesome. Love that guy.

Very good conclusion, still think it would have made more sense to be end of the season cliff hanger. The revelation at the very end was a big surprise but kind of obvious in hind sight.

It does kind of beg the question of why penguin wants to keep Gordian alive.

Barbara was pretty creepy to pre teen Selena. The scene with Fish and her eye was really messed up.

Agreed on Barbara. I feel like they don't know what to do with her, but they know they can't have her gone for too long since she needs to end up with Gordon for marriage later. Not sure where they are going with the teen girls either.

I will say the recent Bruce cleaning up Wayne Industries has found a useful outlet for him as a character and I'm fine with that. It was an avenue of character development I had not considered when Gotham launched and I think it is a good direction for him.

Fish Mooney's eye. That was messed up. Eyepatch time!

And an we agree that Butch is a pretty interesting character. BAcks Mooney, kills his old friend mob style, and now is working with penguin without some kind of revenge motive. I hope he sticks around.

My theory on Barbara is she needs to die a horrible death, then he can have a child with Leslie, and creepily name her Barbara. Frank Miller admitted he messed up in Year One when ha had Jim's wife named Barbara, and forgot about the daughter Barbara. Barbara used to be an only child, then later on Jim had a son before her. Year one he also hooked up with Sarah Essen, but now she is his boss and much older.
