You know that Whitey will not have read this until after he states that he has crashed his ship into the Jedi temple, right?

Isn't he a voodoo god or something?? I remember a couple quotes from some movie back when I was younger...
"Straight ball I hit very much. But curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jokull to come, take fear from bats. I leave him offerings of rum and cigars. He will come."
"I'm pissed off now Jokull. I worship you, I stick up for you, but if you no help me now, I say fuck you Jokull, I do it myself."

Pedro Cerrano: Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come.
Eddie Harris: You know you might think about taking Jesus Christ as your savior instead of fooling around with all this stuff.
Roger Dorn: Shit, Harris.
Pedro Cerrano: Jesus, I like him very much, but he no help with curveball.
Eddie Harris: You trying to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?

Leaving work, per last game etiquette I'll generally post more during work than at home.

What, I kept my business short and sweet and am already en-route...
Plus you gave us 1-person starfighters, not like we had alot of choice in the matter...

No choice as in you didn't elect to trade in the starfighter for cash to go towards a multipassenger ship like Dood+ Bulwark, and Whitey did?

These were your rules...
Blackferne wrote:For attribute scores For when you design the level 1 version of your character the sum of the attributes is 85 with no individual stat going above 18 (before racial is added) and no attribute being below 8 (before racial penalty is applied). If you decide to be a droid the attribute budget is 71 (same 18 and 8 parameters). Remember that as you "level up" you get the attribite bumps at 4 and 8.
As for equipment your budget is as follows For each level you take in the following classes you get the following amount
If it is Jedi: 1200
If it is Noble: 4,800
If it is Scoundrel: 3,000
If it is Scout: 3,000
If it is Soldier: 3,000
Prestige classes get no money bonus
So Let's say you are 3 soldier, 3 scout, 2 noble, 2 Bounty Hunter you would get: 3000+3000+3000(soldier so far) + 3000+3000+3000 (your scout money) + 4800+4800(noble money) +0+0(BH money)= 27,600
As for ships. You are each allowed one small ship. A personal starfighter type which has some base stats. If you choose you can "trade it in for 20k credits" going towards another ship found in either the core rule book, clone war rule book or the starships of the galaxy rulebook. The ship must be era appropriate (IE no Old Republic or 25+ ABY era ships)
If you have any other questions let me know.
So based off of that I would have had 44k credits to buy a ship with if I wanted no other gear. So I could have afforded a couple of the freighters, which are not military style vessels and thus do not fit with my character, and not have had any cash to try to retro-fit them to make them more military.
I'm trying to figure out how within the rules given Whitey was able to have a ship that cost 120k used on the budget you gave...

Mostly he used the noble wealth talent to prop up his starting money supply.

yeah the wealth talent was nice to me once I hit level 4 noble

Yeah the wealth talent is what did it.
Hero 1 - Scout 1 - 3000
Hero 2 - Noble 1 - 4800
Wealth - Noble 1 - 5000
Hero 3 - Noble 2 - 4800
Wealth - Noble 2 - 10000
Hero 4 - Noble 3 - 4800
Wealth - Noble 3 - 15000
Hero 5 - Noble 4 - 4800
Wealth - Noble 4 - 20000
Hero 6 - Scout 2 - 3000
Wealth - Noble 4 - 20000
Hero 7 - Scout 3 - 3000
Wealth - Noble 4 - 20000
Hero 8 - Scout 4 - 3000
Wealth - Noble 4 - 20000
Hero 9 - Gunslinger - 0
Wealth - Noble 4 - 20000
Hero 10 - Gunslinger - 0
Wealth - Noble 4 - 20000
Noble total - 19200
Scout total - 12000
Wealth total - 150000
Total = 181200
plus ship = 201200
So he could easily afford that ship.

Drive time for me.
Tomorrow morning Bulwark and Dood arrive, and I hope to have Furiel landed by noon central time.

I'll be in and out tomorrow. Furiel landing might be the end of the day.
