I'd like to have some volunteers to see about setting up a virtual tabletop to play on this afternoon. If you can please download and update
http://www.rpgobjects.com/index.php?c=orpg&m=getorpg
We will try using the standard version not Traipse.
Second if Dood is on I'd like to test out his mumble server. For that we will need the 1.2.3 stable version of the client.
http://mumble.sourceforge.net/
I'd like to try starting around 3pm est, 2pm cst, 1pm mst and noon west coast. Sign up here if you want to test.

This is just a test of 1) is Dood'd mumble server viable and 2) is openrpg something we can do the tabletop part on. This is not related to the story, and I assume if we are successful Dood can talk you through the stuff before we do a live session (which I hope will be 930 est on tuesday)

I might be late for tuesday, Dani's been going to sleep later now since her napping has gotten messed up. Some days she takes one, some days not, some days she goes down late and stays up late
I was hoping to test the stuff today but I think I'll be out at that time.

This week by-and-large is bad for me. I'm booked Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. Last week of the month is typically really bad for me.

dug out my headset and it's twisted from storage and I don't know where the microphone is...
Got connected to dood's mumble server I think, but I don't know what to do to talk and stuff
Got OpenRPG updated and found an adult roleplaying community

I'm in the mumble server and I set up an alvis server for OpenRPG and the password is alvis (all lower case). This is so I can play around with stuff and get you guys used to the interface (I just started playing with it today so there is only so much I've prepped.

Did you allow it to run the updates?

Strange. It installed and ran on my Win 7 system. Try right-clicking the icon, select properties, select the Compatibility tab and check "Run this Program as an administrator"

Define nothing?
Does the OpenRPG updater open and then nothing happens?
Does it not even get that far?
Does it freeze during the update?

How do I do that?
Gando - with Python? Or OpenRPG?
Furiel - text whizzes by in a black box. Everything disappears.

Do you have UAC on? Where it prompts you to OK it any time you do an install or something similar?
And Gando meant on OpenRPG, but if you can do it on both do so.

User access control
So like when you open up some programs it gives you that annoying box that asks you if you are really sure you want to open that program?

Uninstalled Python. How should I try to install everything?
