Spintik is assembled and ready to go. He is waiting for his party members to join him and when they leave he follows along. He offers to the group his ranger tracking skills.

He also checks the suns position to find out what time it is and weather conditions.

Time 10am approx. Weather appears to be a nice bright sun shiny day. Wind is coming from the NE at approx 5 mph, and that low pressure system won't be hitting us til the weekend. Now back to Rorgath with sports.

"Well, lets head out the to graveyard to see if we can't find tracks to where the goblins. If we are lucky can hopefully get to them before night fall."

Unless there are objections will head to the graveyard.

As you approach the graveyard you see a middle aged man picking up dead branches off the ground, doing general grounds keeping. He is wearing brown robes.

"Hello strangers." When he notices Stavis he seems to be taken back and stares for a moment in shock.

When Stavis notices the shock by the man will step pack a bit to stay at a comfortable distance for the man. Stavis will be as Diplomatic as possible to help calm the concerns of man.

"Um..well, the graves on the north side of the cemetery were the ones hit. They were the freshest graves, but I saw them goblins wheeling away and when I went to go investigate the north part, that's when I noticed the graves empty." he says.

Dood I think you mean insight check (+4 not +9 per your sheet), but either way he appears to be a simple country bumpkin who'd probably sweat buckets if he tried to lie. He saw empty graves and he saw goblins and suspects the two are linked. Also you sense fear in him.

[ooc]Oh shit. That leads to anger, and then to hate, and then to drinking too much and waking up next to Tony Plush.[/ooc]

Ham'mon looks over the graveyard.

"Which way did they go wheeling off?"

"There is a trail on the north side of the cemetery we use it to haul up tombstones and bodies. I saw the cart on that headed west on that. I didn't get too close. I'm a craven in that regard. I'm sorry."

"Thank you sir for your valuable information. Might I also add that I disagree, without the proper gear and a group at your back ensuring your own safety is paramount and any more would have been stupidity and not heroics."

Stavis when when bow in respect to the man and head to the North side to see if he can see anything that had been over looked.

You guys walk up to the north to the robbed graves. You see probably 10 graves that have been dug up, pine caskets left in the grave, and hauled off. Please perform perception checks.

You said "pine caskets left in the grave and hauled off". Does that mean the caskets are there but the bodies are gone?

I'm also going to check the gravestones, see if there's anything interesting about the graves that were opened.

stavis and Spintik I'll take the higher of what you got.

Trinal- yes the pine casket is at the bottom of the grave, opened, without a body. You notice no pattern to the gravestones. No obvious familial relationship or religious affiliation based on markings. They are however the newest 10 graves in the yard.

"Looks like they were just trying for whatever was newest and easiest to get to." He turns to the caretaker. "Where does that trail go, and have you had any problems with goblins around here before?"

[ooc- unless this guy gives us something entertaining, we should probably get to following them.]

@Trinal "I have never seen goblins before, but that trail runs round the cemetery ground perimeter." The caretaker says.

You notice that the wagon tracks a few days old and are deeper than would have been made in a dry time. You speculate that the tracks were made base don the depth either during a light rainstorm (like was had on friday night) or shortly afterwards (within a day).
When group is ready, lets follow the tracks...

"Very good, thanks for your assistance." Trinal looks at the others. "Any objection to following the trail west and seeing if we can follow them?"

The group bids the caretaker farewell and he goes back to gathering sticks off the ground. The trail on the perimeter of the cemetery runs round the whole place but the wagon tracks obviously go off the trail and into a light wood along a lesser maintained path. As you travel in the wood you notice a hill approaching with a tower on it. the wagon tracks lead towards the tower it seems.

Stavis before heading off notices a small brooch on the ground and picks it up, noticing that it has the skull and blood drop symbol on it "Hmm... interesting, may mean the Goblins are a part of the cult or the dead body that was taken." and will then store the brooch in his pack.
