Roster:

It is the Morning of the 7th of Rabbit. You have discussed and gotten a map from Drayson regarding a den of the League of Death. He told you there are vampires there, but who knows what other horrors await you.

"Lady, gentleman, are you fully equiped for a little dungeon delving or do we need to make a quick pit stop for some laterns and/or other equipment? Tony Plush is ready when you are, but he believes we should make haste. Always better to poke holes in undead during the day. That way if things go sideways we can retreat under the protection of the sun."

The Professor says "I think I'm adequately prepared. I've got two sunrods and I believe Victae has 2 so between us that is 24 hours worth of light."

"Correct Professor. I'm ready to depart." Victae says putting her pack on and sliding the glaive into the back holster.

The party departs with gear, weapons, and determination to rid the world of this evil.

The walk takes you four hours to get to the area on the map. Drayson mentioned that the door to the crypt was hidden behind some bushes or vines. Everybody make a perception check to see who finds it.

You guys spread out a bit and search the area with in line of sight and earshot of each other.

The Professor yells "Guys I see something!" As you come over you see what he found, a door in the side of a small hill mostly hidden behind a bush. The door has a simple latch handle and no locking mechanism.

"Ok, well let's expect imminent hosilities. If you can spare a hand have a sunrod out. And remember, especially when it comes to dealing with the undead, overkill is underrated."

Tony will pull out one of his sunrods (makes a mental note to get an everburning torch)

"Let's do this!"

Victae says softly says toherself "Overkill is underrated. Huh...not bad."

She pulls open the door glaive in hand and you proceed down a narrow hall. It smells like dirt, it is damp and cool. The hairs on your neck are bristling and you hear a low toned wind deeper in. About 30 yards in you come to a second wooden door.

(See bottom of the map)
Tony is the lightning bolt
Victae is the Blue Heart
Syric is the Purple Moon
Prof is the Star (he has his sunrod in his hand thus freeing you all to use yours for weapons etc)

Tony has a sunrod out as well. Rapier is one handed and he doesn't use a shield so my offhand is free so we have 2 light sources. Plus with quickdraw I can always drop the sunrod and go for a second weapon or something as needed.

Syric will step forward and open the door.

Syric opens the door and a squeaky hinge makes a loud whine. On the other side of the door you see four spectral warriors. Slightly hovering with their feet looking like they melt away to a ship. They appear to have armor and weapons, but you can see through them.

"WHO DARES TO ENTER?" one calls out in a haunting voice.

The map has been revealed. The red dots are obviously the baddies. The red star is floor ornamentation and has no combat value. There are three doors(the wooded planks at the far end), and though you can't see it from where you are the ones with L's are locked.

The spell missed (critically) Let's see if his does damage to the professor.

Percentile roll. If higher than 75% Professor takes the damage roll. If it is higher than 95% it is double damage.

So 3% no damage. The Professor's ventriliquist act was a bust.
