Stavis goes to the furnace and fills in the group there what was learned. "So we have 30 crates to take that are guaranteed to be Braggo's, I know I would like to bring at least one crate of Heppil to ask about the sign. The question would be what do we do with the crates that are of different blacksmiths that I don't recognize? I would suggest either a piece for each one or a crate each to take to the sheriff to let him know so that the others that have had thefts can notified as well."
Re: Let's Play Dungeons and Dragons: Alvis edition! (Game th
Stavis seeing Ham'mon go and having heard talk of drink while inventorying "If your thinking of something to drink might suggest we have a group get wagons as Dragon has a Large barrel of ale that would do well as a celebration for killing the dwarven enemies."

A noise is heard from the Northwest, Syric is driving a wagon with a second tethered to the rear. He leads the wagons into the center of the quarry and hops down warily.

I have no way to answer that. But I'll guess that everyone is somewhere between "chill" and "lynch mob". Ham'mon however is clearly indifferent as you are not a barrel of ale, wine, rum, whisky, vodka, fermented corn starch, alcohol scrapings from a swamp etc.Whiteness wrote:He looks around at his teammates to try an identify everyone's temperaments, he also makes sure Tony is on his feet.

[OOC] I'm not really sure where everyone is, but I'm assuming with the sound of wagons they're close enough to hear me[OOC]
"I need to apologize, things got out of hand there. Tony, I admit I wanted to teach you a lesson as well, but it never should have gotten that far, I like to think I know better but that clearly was not the case. To be honest, I was counting on Stavis to patch you back up, but I know that is hardly an excuse for my behavior. I signed up to do a job, and I'm here to ensure it gets finished. I can say all sorts of pretty words, but the bottom line is I regret my actions. Gobo, when things got heated in the forge I tried to fight fire with fire instead of letting cooler heads prevail, I'm sorry for any insult. I admit it's been a while since I've killed someone that wasn't a dark creature like the thing that came out of the mine, and I let my emotions get the better of me."
After a pause, "With all that being said, I think we need to stop brandishing weapons at each other when we have a disagreement. I can't assume we're all going to get along, but if it has to come to blows, maybe we can agree to keep it to fisticuffs."

"I won't speak for the others but thank you for your willingness to apologies and can count me as welcoming you without reservation, and a very kind gesture bringing two wagons back. I will back that weapons are off the table should an argument come to blows and should any fail to uphold that will have me to also answer to."
Re: Let's Play Dungeons and Dragons: Alvis edition! (Game th
With a nod to Stavis, "I think I got the wagon you were driving, it was dark and I didn't want to disturb anyone's belongings that they may have left so I just grabbed the one next to mine. I didn't want to risk trying to handle any more than two."

Tony walks slowly up to Syric and stops within melee distance but not right in his face. He looks him in the eye for a moment still as a statue.
"Syric...Tony Plush said this after you left, Tony Plush meant it then and he means it now. Mistakes were made in this situation, mistakes were made by all of us. Tony Plush would rather we all work as a team rather than be at each others throats as we have been and he has not handled this situation anywhere near as professionally as he would like. Tony Plush does not need to like a person to respect them and work with them. Tony Plush is willing to put the past behind us and we have us work together as a team going forward and toward that end Tony Plush accepts your apology."
Tony acts like he's going to turn then for a half second then turns back...
"...But that is conditional. We treat each other, not just you and Tony Plush, but everyone on this team as well with more respect than we have to this point.
Oh, and you accept Tony Plush's apology as well."
Tony will then extend his hand to Syric...

"Of course.." as he reaches out to shake Tony's hand, glad to put this horrible incident behind him.
[ooc]I really wasn't trying to insult anyone before, the 'youngster' jibes were intended to be mostly good natured (i.e. Big brother-ish) and the 'businessman' was an attempt to show Syric is still trying to fit in to human society and took Tony's early comment at face value and then always just assumed anything he didn't understand about Tony was because he was a businessman. In the interest of clarity I'll be dropping both and Syric will be trying to show a better side of himself[OOC]

"Ok, then let's get to business then. Looks like we have a bunch of goods to load up, plus we still need to check the mine shaft. I have a feeling there is some bad news down there judging by some of the smells Tony Plush has picked up on out of there. We should probably send two people down there to check it out, probably the sooner the better. Who would like to head down, Tony Plush would but he isn't fully recovered from this evenings events and he would be more useful loading crates and other gear."

"I was interested in seeing what else was down there, and I think Stavis was as well. We'd probably have a better chance seeing what is coming our way anyway."
"Stavis, are you still up for it?"

"Yes very much so. While taking inventory there was smells that came from the mine that would suggest more then just a simple mine."
Stavis will walk over to the mine picking up is rope back that he had dropped to heal Tony putting a sizable rock on top of the loop in the rope ensuring it will stay put.
"If you see light coming out of the mine will likely mean I have lit sun rod meaning so be quick to respond as I will not light unless under attack."
Stavis will then pull out one of his sun rods and with the coiled rope enter the cave uncoiling the rope as he goes going as straight as possible first.

Gobo, relieved that most of the group has returned and seems to be getting along, stands and pulls his sword from the ground and sheaths it.
"I will stand by the mine and watch for the light. If I see it I will be down the mine immediately"
Gobo's hands quiver ever so slightly but he steadies them by holding his hilt.
"I too apologize for my quickness to anger and judgement. Future fights will require more communication in the heat if battle. Perhaps we should discuss our preferred strategies as I know many of you did. I am bred to hit first, a trait I find difficult to control when fighting begins. Something that has served me well in clan battles, not so much here. I will work on it. Now, I will watch over the mine for you."

Syric nods at the dragonborn as he readies a sunrod of his own in his belt pouch and follows after Stavis.

Stavis and Syric quietly walk into the mineshaft. Stavis' eyes immediately adjust without a problem, but Cyric's for some reason are taking a second to adjust. As they slowly and quiety walk down the mineshaft the smell of damp is infused with the smell of sulfur, chalk, and burnt paper. The mineshaft about 20 yards in branches into 3 paths. Which do you guys wish to travel down? 1, 2, or 3?

"Gobo, holler if you see the light, Tony Plush is going to start loading the wagons."
I'll head into the warehouse and grab a crate of unmarked stuff and load it into Dragon. Then while at Dragon I'll tap the keg Stavis has on it and pour 3 drinks and I'll deliver one to Ham and Gobo each the keep the third for myself and raise a toast.
"To victory and living to fight another day."
Tony will take a slug of ale, put his mug on Dragon then get back at loading the wagons with crates of unmarked items as well as items bearing Brago's mark
