Ooc: I only have to trance for four hours a night to get a full eight hours rest so if people usually are getting up around eight I'd be returning from my run shortly before eight so I can hit the fresher and be ready to go at eight.

Eli hears a tapping
as if someone were a rapping
Rapping at our ships door.

Eli goes to check to see who it is before opening up.

Outside are two men dressed in plain clothes (jackets, pants, shoes etc). One is a younger man probably mid 20s with short blonde hair and the other is older with a pot belly, side burns and a receding hairline. The older seems to be grimmacing.

"We have visitors people"

@Fandango "Why don't you go hang out in the cockpit until we know why they are here until we know why they are here."

I'll open the ramp and walk down to the bottom to block their enterance

"Morning gentleman, Eli, security director of Aderbrent Services at your service. What can we help you with today?"

Bulwark has a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. He pulls out his comlink and gives Jax a call, "Hey Jax, It's Bulwark. Can you come to the Sweet D. We may need your assistance."
He then heads up to the front of the and grabs So Leet. "Hey So, I think we may have a problem. Do you think you could get into the local police database and remove any files linking us or our ship to Ro'Talth? I have a feeling these guys outside are cops and may want to ask us some questions that would be uncomfortable. Try replacing any of our names and this ship name with someone else. Fortunately, this is Tatooine. So I doubt a random dead body will gain too much attention."

Jax and Slick head to the Sweet D.

The young one speaks while the older one looks rather annoyed to be up. "My name is Detective Inspector Ty'lr and this is DCI Hunt. We are looking for Syric and an unnamed associate as persons of interest in an investigation. Is Syric here?"

"Unfortunately since they're already here, not only would we have to kill them, but we'd also have to hunt down and kill anyone who had seen the data in the system... I think at this point it might just be a good idea to talk nicely to them and make up a really REALLY good story about why we were carting around the second in command of one of the dirtiest hutts in the galaxy... I'm going to make some stun batons. *whistles for the mechanic droid to follow him*."
I swear I don't get paid enough to keep doing all the crap I do... and now I'm a fucking weaponsmith... wasted talents... I should have listened to mom before she died and just joined the exchange...
"Oh, I uploaded some info on tordassium to the ships computer as well as a bunch of leads I'll continue to whittle down..."
I go to the work area of the ship and get to it on the stun batons...

So Leet will complete the Ion Batons in 4 hours or so. He'd be able to work faster if he wasn't distracted by his annoyance factor.

Syric runs back to his bunk and removes his concealed holsters.

He then finds Bulwark Hide yourself, I think I'm screwed. I'm going with the story I told Kitani about you but it won't work if they find you.

Syric runs back to the top of the ramp, out of view.

"Well as corporate security director I believe it is my duty to ask you to elaborate on what you need my men for and for how long. If they are being accused of any wrongdoing I need to know about it as it may effect their standing with the company. Also our business on this planet has nearly concluded and we were planning to leave this afternoon so if they are going to be detained for any duration that could interfere with our schedule and we'd have clients to notify and possibly contracts to modify..."

Eli shakes his head

"Cuspar will not like this at all..."

"I'm not at liberty to discuss the specifics, but what I can tell you is that DCI Hunt and myself are investigating a crime and we have reason to believe Syric and his associate can provide us with information to aid our investigation. If you are concerned about the ramifications, this visit is an attempt to talk just to gather facts. He is not under arrest, but if he refuses to cooperate we might be forced to go to the magistrate for more forceful measures to complete our investigation." DI Ty'lr says peeking up the ramp.

"Is he in there or not?" DCI Hunt says in a pretty annoyed tone. before spitting something onto the ground (not at Eli more to the side)

"He's right there"

Eli jerks his thumb up toward the top of the ramp

"Syric, can you go with these gentlemen and give them a hand so we can get off this rock before Cuspar dries out and we end up with a poached Calamari in the cargo hold."

"Hello Syric." Jax says as he walks up to the Sweet D with Slick. "Is Bulwark around? He called and asked me to stop by."

Jax looks at the two men standing at the ramp of ship. "Gentlemen." he says with a slight bob of his head.

Bulwark follows Syric's advice and stashes his holdout blaster, wondering what the laws on Tatooine are for warrants and searches. Thinking quickly, he grabs a pillow and a blanket and finds a place to hide. Knowing that even if he is discovered, he can say that he was looking for a quite spot to nap, not avoiding the cops.
[OOC: does the sweet D have a top hatch? is it loud to use? could someone laying down on top of the ship be seen from ground level?]

You are successfully hiding. There is a top hatch and yes it is loud to use.

@ Syric
"I'm DI Ty'lr and this is DCI Hunt. We are investigating a criminal activity that transpired yesterday. We have reason to believe you might have information that can help us in our investigation. We understand you had an associate you were working with yesterday morning. We are looking for both of you to come down to the station and give us a statement so we can sort it all out." DI Ty'lr says.

DCI Hunt is looking annoyed.
