She manages to get out of the lasso.

Rest of party is up. Other goblins are gone effectively and we are out of combat, just have a charmed and confused Victae.

For the next two turns Richard and Stavis will make their way to the camp as Stavis figures the rest of the group can handle getting Victea back to camp.

When everyone is back, hopefully uncharmed and fully awake from the effects. "Do we stay here the night, do we move camp a bit in case we drew others attention with the fighting, or push on for town?"

After a few minutes Victae snaps out of it.

"That was unpleasant." She says "So what's the plan?"

It is night, getting colder, and the road is two miles north of you. Town is about 8 miles.

"Unless the group really wishes to push for town I vote we move camp one hundred yards do our best to conceal that camp and fire, build up the fire here a bit more so any that investigate will see remains of this camp and with all the goblin and bear tracks assume the worst for who had been here."

Stavis will then look to both Richard and Franklin "Good fighting out there. May not seem it but you both did very good holding that line as well as you did. Once we get you both properly geared we will see you at your full potential."

"I don't know if a hundred yards is good enough if they come back, but to me that's the real question. Do we think they'll be back or did we scare them off thoroughly enough?"

Syric ponders the question for a second and realizes that the Slavers were never aiming to kill the party. It was always about enslavement. The resistance the party put up was quite costly in goblin blood and not worth another try. 100 yards or 0 yards wouldn't mean a hill of beans worth of difference. The hopes for a bear mount however also hit the stern reality that it was unlikely to happen. But for a good 12 seconds he was a bear lord like his mother once referred to his father as.

Syric silently wipes away a single tear, surely it was something in his eye, before continuing.

"Can we make it to the next village? Otherwise we might as well just tuck in for the night, I think we made our message clear" said as he gestures to the bodies of the goblin riders with his sword.

"Let's tuck in for the night here. And tomorrow make our way to the road. It would be a bit easier to make time I think." Richard suggests.

"Clear to the slavers sure, I'm more worried about any patrols from Brackton that heard the commotion, especially with the horn the Goblins used to signal the retreat. I would rather they be in the dark as to where we are and in what direction we are going for a long as possible."

"If I am the only one with that concern we can stay here but it may not hurt to have three people on watch, that way if a patrol does come to investigate we have as early a warning as possible."
With that Stavis will look to Richard and Franklin "Won't be required since you still don't have the gear but you both are welcome to help during my watches if you feel up to it."

"I think we're far enough from Brackton that they'd have a hard time. And honestly, after that fight, I need a rest." (Trinal burned a lot of his dailies)

The night passes. In the distance you hear wolves howling here and there, but the rest of the night is uneventful.

Morning comes and after breakfast you guys make towards the trading post on teh road to Silver deep.

Question: Do you guys make a bee line for the road then cut over, or make a bee line for the trading post going "off roading"

Route 1 is 2 miles off road, 7 miles on road

Route 2 is about 8 miles off road.

First 3 votes will decide.
