Alliance Supply and Procurement: Episode 1

Te'l looks at the trinket and smiles. He sits down to examine it.

Strange that M3 would bring him a cultural welcome, but hey these things can fetch some cash if he needed it.

"Ok M3eper, we are here and working on this ship heading to your job. What's next? I don't like grifting without a plan."

"The way I see it, we do whatever this captain wants to get to Casteel. Keep our heads low, smile, don't make waves. Use any down time to figure out what we can about what happened to me if anything. And when we get to Casteel we go into surveillance mode to see if we have been compromised. I'll be honest, a partial memory wipe scares me so I'm not totally trusting of what I may have done. I'd like you guys to keep me insulated as much operationally at this time, until we can have a proper physical and programming check of my systems." M3PO says.

Blu takes the food and gladly eats it without hesitation. It is only afterwords that he realizes that the droid's integrity may have been compromised, and the food as well.

Dood walks in with Rek.

"I think Common Sense would agree with you, Tin-Man. Ritchey here is going to look you over. Until we know what's going on, I'm going to suggest that chitty-chitty clank clank stay in these quarters unless we need him. As for me, I'm going to catch some sleep."

Dood heads to a bunk, pulls a blanket over his face, and promptly falls asleep.

Rek re-starts his inspection of M3.

When it is breakfast time he will finish his inspection and eat. If nothing is required of him after breakfast he will go take a nap.

"Oh T'el, a point of clarification. You said we were going to 'your job' when addressing M3, he is just a droid assigned to our cell. This job is 'ours' and once we've verified the droid is clean we can give him the information from the data card."

Rek returns to his inspection.

Bronto stands beside M3P0 during the inspection.

"Bronto, back up a bit will you? Maybe go hit the 'fresher and wash up a bit, it's hard to concentrate with you and your smel..with you standing so close."

Bronto stares blankly at Rek, and moves closer to M3P0.

M3PO turns to Bronto and says in aqualish "I believe he is a bit nervous with you so close. Duros by nature aren't terribly confident people. He is probably intimidated by you. It will be okay if you take a step back and let him relax a bit." M3PO then gently motions the its cool, take a step back hand gesture.

[Cuspar]

Bronto listens carefully to M3P0. He breathes on M3P0's shoulder to fog it up, and then uses his shirt to polish that spot on the droid. Seemingly satisfied, he make what sounds like a pitious groan at Rek, and then takes a few steps back from the droid. He continues to stare, nonetheless.

"Thanks pal" and for good measure Rek groans back at Bronto.

Blu sets his gear in a locker and takes a quick nap. When it is time for him to help out, he heads for the kitchen.

OOC: you have 2 choices right now, we can skip ahead to your landing on Castell or we can roleplay out Edgar busting all your balls, especailly T'el's, for the next couple days during the trip. Your choice.

"We needed a datapad to read that data card and, well, we didn't think you'd be coming back. Bronto here was very protective of your stuff so I wrote the IOU and counted it out in front of him. He can verify l took 300 of the 500 credits you had" Rek replies also in Durese.

"Well, after you gave the satchel to the Bothan he took the credits and that thing you gave to T'el...and I think something else, but after he gave the satchel to Bronto the Aqualish made him put the credits and trinket back. " Rek continues in an uninterested Durese tone.

"Huh. That is probably the mesh tape. Terribly useful. I'll have to see if he still has it." M3PO says in Durese. He pauses and switches back to basic. "You seem pretty knowledgeable on mechanics here Rek, any chance you also know how to program computers? I'd feel a lot better if after this checkup I could get someone to get a diagnostic list of program installations, removals, modifications, or any changes to the core registry during my off time. Something isn't adding up. Why would they do a partial memory wipe instead of a full one, and why do a memory wipe at all if they meant to have me destroyed in that scrapyard."

"I'll take a look after breakfast droid, I guess I am starting to get a bit hungry" says Rek who is more focused on his work than conversing with the inorganic.

Rek does not find any new, changed or missing hardware in his examination of M3. Nor does he find any programming anomolies or routines other than the ones you would expect related to the partial memory wipe you are already aware of.

You arrive on Castell mid-afternoon, bone tired from all the crap Edgar had you doing constantly. You are all pretty sure he's a cyborg that never sleeps because he had a nack for showing up to assign you work within 15 minutes of you laying down to sleep. You aren't in negative modifier land yet, but you will be starting to flirt with it in the not to distant future if you don't get a good nights rest. Captain Stone is very complimentary of your service on the ship, he returns your weapons to you and pays all of the organics 250 credits each for their work during the voyage. He wishes you all well then politely asks you to leave so he can oversee the offloading of their cargo.

"I suggest we find a seedy motel to set up shop." M3PO.

"All right, lets find a cantina, get a good meal and make a plan...uh, that is if it's ok with you commander " Rek says with a look to Dood.

"You guys look tired. Edgar really ran you down, tell you what. How about I go find us sleeping quarters, and you all grab a bite to eat. I'm light on money and I don't know exactly what rooms will cost us or if I have to pay up front so let's say 40cr per person to start which will probably suffice for 2 nights unless prices are higher here." M3PO says. "After I secure lodging I can contact you on your comms."

While he waits for the money he tries to access his memory banks for any special rules or laws at play on Casteel which would be important to know as well as what sort of sociological situation this society has.
