LPDnD: Life is a Highway
Stavis will start to head to the drow south Victea before stopping and quickly turning to Tony "Take one of their cross bows and some of their bolts and shot them with it before returning the crowbow to him. If we are lucky they will think this is Drow politics to ensure a settlement hasn't grown soft."
Stavis will then look through to see if the Drow has an antidote for the poison used.

"That's incredibly good thinking, Stavis. Well done. I hope it works; the amount of noise we made between the thunder and the horn may raise some questions, but it may serve and will at the least muddy the waters."
Trinal will assist with getting gear stuffed in the bags and carrying Victae. "Tony, you and Stavis should lead the way, you're going to be better at night. Syric and I will carry Victae until she wakes."

Tony will take Stavis's suggestion and will make sure that the crossbow bolts go into a vital area as well.
"While that may seem like a good suggestion, Tony Plush is probably the strongest one here, not to mention the fact that human eyes aren't as adept at seeing in the dark as those with some elven blood, so while Tony Plush's ears are as good as ever, the rest of you will spot things long before Tony Plush could."

Trinal nods and says "All right, if you're willing to help carry Victae, I'll do my best. I suggest we move quickly and get as far away from here as possible before dawn."

Victae wakes up a bit groggily. "What happened?"

Trinal looks relieved. Quietly and urgently he says "You were hit by a poisoned crossbow bolt. It knocked you out for a bit. We've dispatched the drow and their demon companion, but we have to leave here right now because reinforcements are likely en route. Can you walk?'

"If I must walk, I will walk." She stands a little unsteady at first. Grabs her polearm as a walking stick (as opposed to her usual slung from the back), and grabs her gear.

"Excellent. We'll help if need be, don't hesitate to ask."
Trinal looks around. "Ready? Let's move out. I suggest northeast."

Re: LPDnD: Life is a Highway
The party set out Northeast. It is agreed that Stavis should lead having the best vision. Tony is set behind him having the worst, but good ability to stealth in case it is needed. Victae, despite her protests that she is fine is set in the middle in case the poison has a lingering effect. Trinal next and then last Syric having lowlight vision to cover the rear.
The party moves along in the forest quickly as they can while still keeping quiet. Periodically you hear calling horns from the South and West, and sometimes from the North though they seem far away. The night air is cool a sit is in autumn and the air feels damp.
You figured there is another three hours til dawn when you left the camp/battle site and have been traveling for an hour at this point.
syric and Trinal please make endurance checks.

Despite the long hike yesterday and virtually no sleep, the battle adrenaline has reinvigorated Trinal.

Stavis will signal to the group to stop but not because of any perceived threats quietly saying "I think we have a small chance to catch our breaths and enough time for me to try my hand at Travelers Camouflage."
Before doing the ritual will examine Tony, Trinal, and Victae for any times of effects by the points. When he sees Victae resists will whisper to her "Do not worry yourself about being unable to help in the fight. I've seen grown men put down for near a week with poisons like those."

Stavis feels a bit of relief as he feels the magic work chalking up his previous attempt to nervousness to facing the Drow here.

Syric despite little sleep is also high on adrenaline from the battle and meeting some of his old oppressors.

"Thanks, Stavis. Actually, I saw Victae practically tear one in half before she succumbed to the poison- a well-struck blow."

Stavis will look to the group "Unless we must rest now I suggest we push till noon and setup camp and have a meal. That way we will travel a bit in the night which should make it difficult for the Drow to keep up."

The march goes on. You cross a brook at one point and see a deer. It seems weird such a lovely thick forest plays host to the Drow. You find a nice spot and stop for lunch.
